First 2016 Summer Beach Bash

We took the charter bus from the Hospitality House at OKW. We were able to check in at the Hospitality House and got wrist bands at 8 pm. I thought we checked in at Typhoon Lagoon but was happy to get the bands early. They did supply pool towels at Typhoon Lagoon. We enjoyed the wave pool and lazy river. They had a DJ party going on. They had 2 locations for free lemonade, ice water, chips, cookies and Mickey Bars, Creamsicles and Mickey ice cream sandwiches.
We stayed to about 10:30. The parking lot had many cars so you can drive yourself. We had not been to a waterpark in 5-6 years and we enjoyed the DVC Beach Bash.

We went last night and were staying at BCV. We were able to get our band at the concierge desk in the lobby at 6pm. We got to TL at 8pm and got right in. We only stayed until 930pm (tired kid) but had a great time. We did not think it was crowded. I think all the slides were open except the coaster slides. Great event and would definitely go again.

Figure I should report back to my own post. Did the beach bash last night and had a blast. We were a party of 8 staying at OKW. Got our armbands around 6:45 and headed over to Typhoon Lagoon an hour later. Was in the park by 8. Grabbed some chairs and headed to the slides. Saw Mickey & Minnnie and way to many chips, cookies,and Mickeybars. Did the lazy river and wave pool. Before we knew it, it was 12:00. Stopped to see Goofy & Donald on the way out. It was a great night.

We were in the gate and walking to chairs right at 8. People had things already set up so I think they must have gotten there a few minutes earlier. If you have your own car, I would try being there at 7:45-7:50. We were definitely in the park by 8.
