Firm Check In Week 4

Good morning guys!

I'm checking for the day. I tried my new Cardio Sculpt Blaster video and love it! Some of the moves are awkward a bit but I'll get them eventually. I like that in 30 minutes I get through the whole tape. That makes me feel good. I believe what I will do is use this tape twice a week and my regular cardio sculpt (hopefully the whole 55 minutes on Saturday).

Melanie - thanks for the advice about not overtraining. I am hoping that if I do cardio blast 2x a week (no weights), regular cardio sculpt (55 minutes) 1x a week, ab sculpt 2 x a week (again no weights) and body sculpt (upper body 25 minutes) once a week I should be okay. What do you think? I don't want to injure myself. I've done that before Tae Boe and a 280+ pound body do NOT mix so I don't want to go through that again. I appreciate your advice!

s&k'smom - I know what you mean how other work outs just don't give you that high you get from a FIRM work out. Good for you though in getting your exercise done for the day!

danicaw - I'm glad you're feeling better. I think it's a good idea to get some other type of work out in on off days. I will have to keep that in mind if I find I'm overdoing it with working out with the FIRM everyday.

Tracy - When I do body sculpt I pick either uppper or lower but not both. That is one intense work out. Btw, I am thinking spring, can you do something to make this Cleveland weather cooperate?

Good morning FIRMies and Happy St. Patrick's Day :bounce: I am trying very hard to think spring :sunny: but the weather is not cooperating; it has been snowing all morning :( .

Yesterday I did my jog/walk on the treadmill. Today I did Total Sculpt Plus Abs from BSS2. WOW what a workout. I did finish the whole tape but there were parts of it that I wasn't doing the moves (the fancy footwork) exactly the way they were. I tried to follow along the best I could and I kept moving and with time hopefully I will get these moves down. There were also times during some of this footwork that I didn't do the upper body moves along with the leg work because I am just not that coordinated to get it all when I get started LOL. I like to try and get the footwork down first and then work on coordinating my upper body along with it. Tomorrow I will do the treadmill again and then I think I'll try this tape again on Friday morning before going away for the weekend with some girlfriends.

Melanie and Kim thanks for the recommendations for BSS2! I am glad that I decided to keep it and I can't wait to try the other 2 tapes too. I think I might "watch" them today while I am cleaning the house. Last night I had watched Total Sculpt while folding laundry and I think that helped a little with some of the moves.

Tracy, you said you wanted to know what I thought of BSS2 when I tried it. I like it so far and am glad I decided to keep it. The price at Walgreens is the best I have seen it for and I even checked on Ebay. I have alot of the older FIRM tapes but I like the newer ones best and now that I'm getting back in to doing the FIRM ( thanks to this thread :D ) I wanted some more variety of newer tapes. I like the sculpting stick so far, there are new moves they are doing with it. I had been thinking about rejoining Curves but then I came asross these FIRM threads here and decided to give it a try again first. I am gald I did because investing in BSS2 is about what 1 month would cost at Curves and I have these tapes forever without having to keep paying for a monthly membership and I can workout at whatever time of the day I want (I had a hard time with the hours at Curves when I belonged there 2 years ago and it probably wouldn't be any better now) with my FIRM tapes and I actually feel like I get a better workout with the FIRM. If you do decided to buy it let me know what you think of it!

Have a good day everyone!

Cheryl:wave2:

Hey FIRMies!:sunny:

I must give a big HI and WELCOME to Danica! How did I miss your previous posts?! I think your workout rotation of biking/walking/sculpting sounds terrific, and I know those extra pounds will just be melting away! I'm so glad you've decided to join us and I'm looking forward to hearing all about your progress!

Hi TigerBear! It sounds as though you and I have the same reaction to Total Sculpt--YOWZA! With that workout, I not only feel sore right afterwards, but for a day or two later--I think it's all the s-l-o-w lifting and working against the negative. I am so happy that you are enjoying your workouts! You're jammin' baby!

Hi Octoberbride! I love your attitude! You already realize that you'll only improve your fitness level by working at your own time and pace and that's what your focusing on! It's fine if you can't always keep up with the tape for now, because with every workout you do you will get stronger and more confident! You are doing an AWESOME JOB, and I'm proud of you for being so smart and determined! Way to go!

Uh oh, Melanie--my secret is out! My love of all things FIRM is actually inspired by...procrastination!!! You know, to an extent it's true! In a house with three dogs, a cat, ds8 and dh, it's impossible to keep this place clean for more than a nanosecond! Why oh why do I try?!:yo-yo: Great job keeping up with your workouts while you're so busy! Mel, do you have the Super Cardio (I think that's the title) video? It's an older workout (mansion set I believe) that uses four instructors: Jen & Allie:) I know for sure, and two others...? If you have that one, I'd love to hear your expert opinion! (Take your time--I know you're busy!). A big CONGRATS for continuing to do so well, staying strong and inspiring us all!

Hi s&k'smom! You are a real FIRMie for sure! I agree with Lisa about not feeling the same if I try a different workout--I used to think I was weird for feeling this way, but I read a message board called The Firm Ya-Yas and they're as addicted as we--if not more so! Excellent job making the time to exercise--between your children and the work on your house, I'm sure yu're one busy woman! Keep up the great work!

Hi Tracy! Girl, I'm impressed that you even had the strength to type after doing Body Sculpt! Aaaargh! That one KILLS ME! I do the same thing--I only do that video every 2-3 weeks or so, and never quite remember how tough it is! TERRIFIC JOB making it through that extremely hard workout, Tracy--you are one Macho Babe!

Hi Lisa! I'm glad you liked CScB! I agree 110% with what Melanie says about overtraining--I learned the hard way and had to take it easy for a few days until all my overtrained muscles and joints felt well enough to get back to exercise (I had overworked my body to the point of pain, not just normal soreness). I'll never overtrain again--completely NOT worth risking serious injury and burnout. I read a lot about overtraining after my episode with it, and discovered that when you lift weights you actually break down muscle fibers. It is during the muscles' rest and recovery period that they repair, rebuild and get stronger. I never knew that, but it made me really understand the importance of rest!
Lisa, I can't say enough about how much I am inspired by all your hard work. I'm so impressed by your dedication and determination and I'm sending {{{BIG HUGS}}} your way! You are THE BEST, my friend!

Hi Cheryl! I really think you'll like BSS2! Total Sculpt really works my butt and thighs! (I apologize for the visual, Cheryl)! I think it's a great idea to preview a video before doing it--I try to do that it, too, and find it really helps! And you're smart for getting the footwork down first--sometimes I still find my arms just flying all over the place! Gosh, what a sight we'd be if we were ever in the same room all exercising together! Body parts all over the place and cursing at those !*$%*! HOVER SQUATS!!! You're doing such an amazing job, Cheryl! Keep on truckin'!

I did Cardio Sculpt this morning and stretched out for about 20 minutes with my Debbie Siebers' Cool It Off DVD. I love the extra stretching and back strengthening exercises she does!

Have a Happy Hump Day FIRMies, and keep up all your awesome work!

Hi All:jester:

I just finished my 2nd day of CS. Still only 10 minutes, but that's enough right now to get me through warm-up, the first fanny lifter exercise and some fanny lifter push-ups. That's about what i did last time so I'm happy.

And even though I'm still feeling my first workout i went through today's even better than i did on monday. I have to work at the lunges a lot, but most of the warm-up was easier than it looked on monday. I may not have kept up with Allie entirely, but my form was decent so that makes me happier.
Later tonight as i wind down, I will do my Pilates routine, which really helps me relax and stretch out b4 bedtime. I'm also contemplating doing my WATP tape too. I need to do the weight reps tonight. I most likely will wind up doing it, since i expect to feel pretty good. And i know tomorrow, I'll feel all my thigh and butt muscles all over again.

Thanx for the great welcome everybody

Helloooo FIRMies!
I am so excited! DH bought me BSS2! WOOHOO!!! I am so excited to watch them and try them out! Of course I have to wait until House of Mouse goes off.;) I also got a free 30 day pass to the FIRM Believers Club. Looking forward to checking that out later...::yes::

Octoberbride 03~ Great job! Keep up the good work! In no time at all, you'll be doing the 55 minute workout! ::yes::

Kim~ I know that I have said this before and I will say it again: You are such an inspiration to me! I appreciate the encouragement that you send my way and I am so inspired by your hard work and dedication! You are awesome!!!::yes:: :Pinkbounc

Cheryl~ I can't wait to preview my videos tonight! I'll let you know what I think after watching the Firm-a-thon tonight!!Woohoo!

Lisa~ I am so glad you like Cardio Sculpt Blaster! It's fun isn't it? :teeth: I wish I could do something about the weather... It's really been getting me down lately. Sooner or later it should warm up. Of course it will probably warm up here in Ohio while we're in Florida and then be cold when we come back. We can still hope, right???:teeth: Sending lots of :sunny: :sunny: your way!

Danica~ Welcome to the FIRM! I'm sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well. I hope you are feeling much better now!

S&K's mom~ Hi there! It's good to mix up our exercise routines every once in awhile. I know what you mean about missing that endorphin rush from the FIRM though. I love Windsor Pilates, but it's just not the same as the FIRM. Since you are doing CS w/ Allie tomorrow, you'll get that "rush" back. Keep up the great work!:Pinkbounc

Melanie~ WOW! Two days of great workouts back to back and at 5:00 a.m. Woohoo! Great job! I just got my BSS2 and can't wait to preview it tonite and try a video tomorrow! Thanks for the pixie dust too! Weather still isn't cooperating, but we have hope that we'll see the :sunny: soon!

Well, I could ramble forever, but I am going to checkout my new videos!:Pinkbounc Have a great nite everyone!!!!

Tracy:teeth: :wave2:

Today is a rest day for me and I got in a nice long bike ride.
Tomorrow I am going to try "Complete Aerobics and Weight Training" - thats a mouth full.
I am not nearly as sore this week after my workout yesterday as I was last week with the same workout. Thats a good thing.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome.
Have a great day everyone.

Hey FIRMies- I got up at 5am and did Maximum Body Shaping today. This was the first time I did this tape. It got really good reviews on the YaYa boards. This is a sculpt tape and actually says beginner to Intermediate. Tracie Long lead this tape, and there were not really any cardio segments, but it was fast paced and really kept me huffing and puffing. It included some ab work and butt work. Not bad for the first time, was really easy to follow along (no fancy cardio moves).

Danica-glad you are not as sore this week. Trust me, the soreness stops after a while unless you try a new workout that uses different muscles or you move up in weights. I actually miss them not being sore. I don't feel like I worked out hours later. I guess that's good, lol! This extra weight will melt off now that you are FIRMing and bicycling in no time! Keep up the great work!

Tracy-Woo hoo! I am so glad DH got BSS2 for you, you will love love love it!! They are my favorites!

Maureen-Way to go, keep at it nice and slow and you will master it soon! You are doing fabulous!

Kim- Super Cardio (VHS Version)is also Super Cardio Mix (DVD Version). I do have Super Cardio Mix and have done it once. It is really long (63 minutes) (3 min warmup, 1 min stretch, 49 min cardio, 3.5 min cool down stretch, 3 min abdominals, 3.5 min final stretch. There were about 4 people who led this, and it wasn't all taped on the same day (Jen's hair was different in once section and they were all wearing different clothes). In one of Allies section she uses a medicine ball, so that is now on my list of items to get (it never ends, lol). It was 90's style, so it wasn't as bad as the 80's stuff. Still used the old mansion set which I don't care for, but not as bad as when they did it in the 80's. Less people and the outfits are much better. I did like it, and it was really long. I believe there was a lot of high impact jumps in it. I would have to do it a few more times before I make the final judgement if I like it or not.

Cheryl-keep on doing as much as you can, the rest will come with time. You are doing fabulous.

Lisa- If you are doing ab sculpt two days you will be ok, to me this is a rest day tape, or an add on. Very light and mostly ab work.

s&k'smom-the addiction only gets worse the more you do them!!

Morning FIRMies!:sunny:

Hi Octoberbride! You're doing a GREAT JOB on Cardio Sculpt! Continue to work at your own pace and keep the good form that you have now and you'll be getting stronger and completing more of the workout every day! I think that your pilates work is a nice compliment to your FIRMing and WAPTing! I have an hour-long stretching-only DVD, and I love how my body feels when I do it~~all liquid-y and loose! Keep up your terrific work!

Hi Tracy! Ooooo, tell me Girl, did you try your BSS2 yet?! What a great man you have there to buy that for you!:lovestruc Maximum Cardio Burn and Complete Aerobics & Weight Traing are my favorite FIRM videos out of all that I have. And Total Sculpt is one workout that my body continues to *really* feel long after the video's over! I can't wait to hear what you think about your new workouts! Let us know all about it!

Hi danica! Like I told Tracy, Complete Aerobics & Weight Training is one of my favorite workouts! The first four-limbed set (squats with foot on the FL plus shoulder presses) really get to me! Let us know how it went! You're doing a terrific job, danica, and we're so glad you're here!

Hi Melanie! Excellent job getting in Maximum Body Shaping so early! You're my hero! Thanks for your opinions on Super Cardio (Mix). I'm looking for a longer cardio video (wow--nearly 50 minutes of cardio--wonder if I can keep up?!) and I may have get that one. I'd have to buy a medicine ball, too. I wish the Firm would put out a few more longer cardio tapes. Have you heard anything about your BSS3 yet? I know some of the Ya-Yas have received theirs, and I think there's one review (Christa's workout) up on the review board. I can't wait to hear what you think of the new system! Did you know that Jen Carman moved to Tracie Long's new gym? They're producing functional fitness videos that focus on strength that comes from the core. I'll miss her on the new FIRM workouts. Keep up your AWESOME WORK my FIRMie Guru!

I did MCB + Abs this morning--love it, love it, love it!!! But someone please tell me...am I the only one who does her own version of that dang step-n-scoop?! I once kicked my cat in the face while trying to get that move down!:duck: Funny, she never shows herself when I exercise anymore...

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone, and JAM ON!

***Edited to add: I'm having trouble posting this, so I apologize in advance for any double or triple posts!

No more Jen Carmen? Oh that's too bad, I really like her videos. I would love to hear more on the third set of video's too. But can't use my credit card (OK I can but wit what room is left on it I gotta use for our WDW trip!).

Good morning All:D

Today is a rest day for me, so later on b4 bed I'll do my Pilates, but that's it. I am feeling very good this morning though. Just a slight twinge in my front legs. And it looks like the gradual soreness of legs and butt that occured on tuesday will Not be happening today. Which suits me just fine.
I did get in my WATP tape with weights yesterday afternoon once lunch was over. I still had the flexibility and stable knees to go for it, so i did b4 anything got too sore. I think even if my legs had said stop i would have completed all the weight reps since I'm not yet using them in CS yet. I don't wanna have to start all over from scratch that way.
I almost can't believe how good i feel right now. But it just confirms what I'd been thinking for a little while now. That my body was ready for something much harder even though I haven't mastered WATP 1 mile yet. And I'm glad i never considered the Firm when i was just starting out. I think i'd have killed myself LOL.

Have a good day

Good afternoon fellow FIRMies!

I did body sculpt (upper body) this morning which makes 8 days in a row of exercising with the FIRM for me. I'm curious to see what my record will be - I almost gave in this morning but it was more out of laziness than feeling I needed a break so it was up and at 'em!

Octoberbride - I have to agree with you about how great a FIRM work out makes you feel, even though it does kick your butt while you are doing it. I think someone, maybe Melanie called it "FIRM fever" or something. It is a really good feeling and just makes you want to work out with the videos even more! Keep up your great work! Do you like Pilates? I'm thinking of adding it into my routine down the line.

s&k's mom - I'm bummed about the Jen Carmen news too. At first I didn't like her but now that I've mastered the moves for body sculpt, she has grown on me. Too bad she left.

luvmydogs - what's MCB + abs? I've been meaning to ask but didn't want to seem dumb. I don't know what the step and scoop move is but it sounds difficult. Good for you in keeping up with such a difficult routine. You rock!!! :)

Melanie - that Maximum Body Shaping work out sounds great! Everyone time I hear about a new tape you guys are using, it makes me want to go out and get it for myself. I have got to learn self-control and to pace myself more. I almost feel like a FIRM junkie! That can't be good. I'll work on it though. Have a great afternoon!

danica - it sounds like you are progressing well. I still have some soreness from time to time but I try to push through and a hot bubble bath always helps! I even get DH in on my recovery by telling him how sore different muscles groups are and he gives me a massage. I guess that's another benefit of working out with the FIRM. ;)

Tracy - I know you'll love BSS2. I watched the DVDs about six months ago and while they were too challenging for me back then, maybe once I hit onederland I'll be able to step up. Let us know when you start using the new tapes. Your DH is obviously a sweetie to buy the system for you!

As young Mr. Grace, would say (anybody an Are You Being Served fan?) "You've all done very well!"

Hello FIRMies.........

Today was Super Cardio Sculpt and Day 2 of 5 day abs. I like that you can add 5 day abs to the end of tape and not have to do warmups or anything (like in ab sculpt or FIRM abs).
I really REALLY like Super Cardio Sculpt. The first time I did it, I was so lost and thought what the hell is Nancy Tucker doing. I didn't even think I liked her with her super soft very southern voice, but it grew on me. I LOVE LOVE the section where you walk around the step. The whole tape is so upbeat and fun!! I did it perfectly (mostly) today. Kept up and did the same moves they did. It feels really good when you master a tape.

Maureen,

I am so proud of you! You are making such improvements. I know that when I exercise, especially when I do something like the FIRM I feel so good.

s&k'smom

FIRM Hips, Thighs and Abs led by Pam Cauthen Meriwether

FIRM Hips, Thighs and Abs is a 30-minute sculpting workout that targets the trouble spots of the lower body and abs. Pam introduces some new and effective exercises and adds a new twist to some old favorites to re-shape your body from the waist down. You can do the entire video at once, or you can do it in parts: the lower body workout and abs workout are separate for greater variety and flexibility. This workout is challenging enough to stand alone and is also a great addition to a cardio workout like Fat Blasting Cardio, Express Cardio or Advanced Cardio Blast. It uses The FIRM Box, dumbbells and The Sculpting Stick. All the moves are completed seated, kneeling or lying on the Box and the floor.

Express Cardio led by Stephanie Huckabee

Express Cardio is a 30-minute cardio workout that will blow you away with fun new moves using The FIRM Box. There is a ton of variety in this workout: all new Incline Box routines, heart-pumping 14" Box climb, creative 6" Box step moves, booty shakin' low/ high impact variations and light 4-limb. With this workout, you get a total body cardio workout. You'll trim your lower body while shaping up your upper body and burning fat. Not a second is wasted -- you get down to business from the very first note of the high-energy soundtrack

Express Total Body Sculpting led by Pam Cauthen Meriwether

Express Total Body Sculpting is just what you might think! We call it express because it's only 30 minutes, but you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in such a short time with this total body sculpting workout using only the Sculpting Stick. You'll use it for resistance and also for balance during exercises that will shape up your legs with slow movements and static contractions. Your upper body will get a great workout with fun 4-limb moves and your abs are sculpted with standing oblique work and a new twist on the tough but effective planks. This compact but effective workout is not only fun, but easy to use with limited props - the perfect companion to a trip on the road!

Advanced Cardio Blast led by Lisa Kay

Ready to take your cardio to the next level? Advanced Cardio Blast is a 30-minute cardio workout designed to pump up your heart rate and blast away the fat. The FIRM Box and great choreography by Lisa will get you fantastic results as time flies by! Lisa introduces all-new moves on the Incline FIRM Box, power moves and high impact in her floor aerobic routines and fun step patterns using the 6" Box. Plus, she uses the 14" Box in a new and exciting upper and lower body cardio sequence that will boost your metabolism while burning calories. This hot cardio workout gives you a break from the weights - all you need is the new FIRM Box. You'll be amazed at how well The Box and Lisa's fantastic new moves will strengthen your body and heart. The FIRM Believers asked for advanced cardio and here it is!

FIRM Power Yoga led by Kirsten Strohecker

FIRM Power Yoga is a 30-minute stretching and strengthening workout. It will be great to do on a rest day if you still want some activity. Or you can add it onto a cardio workout to take full advantage of how warm your muscles are to really increase your flexibility. The workout has sculpting components, but the resistance is created by your own body weight. The challenge comes from holding positions that will both sculpt lean muscles and improve your range of motion. Although it is yoga, you will already be familiar with some moves that The FIRM has used before in our final stretches and core training.

Kim- I so agree with you on the longer cardio's. I have no doubt that you can do the whole cardio portion of Super Cardio. Even for my first time I was able to complete it. I had a hard time picking out a cardio this morning because I wanted something long (not two shorts back to back but a nice long one) so I opted for Super Cardio Sculpt for 45 min and added abs to it. I do like when a tape has abs included.
For MCB plus ABS, the step and scoop is not easy to get your feet pointed to the side so quickly. I am usually winded by this point and do something similiar to it, but with my own variations!

Everyone keep up the great work.

When I woke up this morning, about an hour earlier than I was hoping (my little guys woke up early) I was ready to throw in the towel and be lazy today. But I got online and was reading the boards and decided not to be lazy.
Once the kid-o went down for his nap I did BSS2 Complete Aerobics and Weight Training. Wow! What a workout.
I made it through, although I missed a step here and there.
I like alternating between upper and lower and weights and cardio.
The Fanny Lifter kills me. OUCH!!
I have a feeling I will be sore tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for all the encouragement.
This is a great group.

Sorry that I don't post much ladies - things have been really crazy here. I did Strength Training with Jen yesterday. I have to say of the 3 she is my least favorite leader. There just seems to be something fake about her - but maybe that is me. I really like the workout though and feels it really gets in there and works the muscles.

Melanie - thanks for all the great information about the different videos!

Lisa - you continue to inspire me!

I am down a size in my jeans! I'm in a size 12! I love it! I may need to go buy some new clothes soon but I am trying to put it off until it gets a bit warmer. I love the look of the Gap Capris. There is a garage sale in my subdivision soon and I am hoping to find some extra dumb bells - right now I only have 5 lb weights and I would really like to get some 8 lbs.

~Amanda

Today was a treadmill day for me but tomorrow morning I am planning to get up EARLY again and do a FIRM tape before getting DD up and off to school and then I'm going away for the weekend with some friends :D . My legs were a bit sore today after doing Total Sculpt plus Abs yesterday but they are feeling much better tonight. I am debating on repeating that tape tomorrow or trying 1 of the other BSS2 tapes or trying the Cardio Sculpt Blaster seeing how it is shorter and I may be pressed for time.

ZerasPride I bought the Cardio Sculpt Blaster at Kmart after reading about how you had just found it for a good price and liked it. I saw the DVD for 12.99 so I figured I'd give it a try too. Sometimes I don't have the time for a longer tape so a 30 min one sounds great. I'll let you know what I think of it when I try it!

Melanie Thanks for posting all the info about the new tapes coming out with BSS3! They sound great and if I stick with this like I plan too I think I'm going to have to invest in them in a little while ;) .

Tracy That's great that your husband bought you BSS2! Have you tried any of the tapes yet? I can't wait to hear what you think as we both try out our new tapes!

I'm not sure I'll have time to post here tomorrow morning so have a GREAT weekend fellow FIRMies! :sunny:

Cheryl

Congrats on the size 12 Septbride, way to go!

Thanks Melanie on the info on the tapes, silly question do you order that online? I don't think it's available in stores yet I just may break down and call and see if I can pay for it by check.

Today was cardio blast with Lisa Kay. And I couldn't wait to tell you guys that I think the "cottage cheese" on my thighs is lessening! And I totally blame all of you for increasing my firm addiciton! I actually wished I was doing more than 30 minutes, am I nuts? Tomorrow and Sunday are off days as I begin the clean up from the contractors and figure between washing floors and dusting that'll be quite a workout! Take care and see you on Monday!

Good Friday Morning,
It snowed again here this morning. Today is my rest day, and I had such a desire to exercise today but I forced myself to turn off the alarmclock and go back to bed. Well that was the easy part, but it is really hard not too when you feel so good. I was all set to do Complete Aerobics and Weight Training, but hopefully it will mean I get a great work out in tomorrow.

s&k'smom- I know that if you are a firm member and you order through the website it is really low right now. 59.95 I think. If your not, you can call the 800 (I think - 1800 the firm) and they may take a check. I think they do through the infomercial. I think the regular price is 89.95, but I could be wrong. For those that don't have the sculpting stick you can order the stick and two of the five add on video's for an extra $30.00.
You are becoming addicted, lol! It is so funny how that happens. I find myself wishing throughtout the day I could do another tape. Just to think that I had a hard time even starting to exercise, let alone now want to do it more than once a day.........very strange. See you Monday!

Cheryl- Try one of the new tapes. Once you master them you will have so many more choices. The hardest part is trying it for the first few times. I know that the first time I tried Super Cardio Sculpt I hated it, and after a few practice runs I absolutely love it. Cardio Sculpt blaster is a great short workout!! Have a great weekend.

Amanda- Congrats on the size 12, it only gets better from here!!! Doing the FIRM will really get those sizes going down. Way to go!

Danicaw- Way to go getting into the grove and doing Complete Aerobics and Weight Training. I bet you felt like a million bucks afterwards. I find that I especially feel good when I was trying not to do it and I did!! Keep up the great work! I agree that I like it when they do upper, lower, cardio etc. Gives you a break in between. I think that is why I really loved BSS2 when I first got it. It was unlike any other exercise I ever did and really wasn't so hard continuously, but I saw great results with it. It was fun and kept me interested.

Well everyone, Have a great Friday!

Melanie

All right I know I'd see you Monday but I have another question. What do you guys think of the firm believer's club?

Howdy Fellow FIRMies!
I can't believe that I did not get a chance to post at all on the DIS yesterday. We were pretty busy.

Well, I have done two workouts with BSS2 and I LOVE THEM!! :Pinkbounc ::yes:: Woohoo! I did Maximum Cardio Burn yesterday and Total Sculpt today. Whew! They are great!!!!! I really like how they combine the upper body, the lower body, and the cardio. Time flew by with both of them! Best $39.99 my DH ever spent!::yes::

Thanks everyone for encouraging me to get these! Now, I'm off to journals and the FIRM Believers Club. Have a great day and keep up the awesome work!

I did Maximum Cardio Burn this morning.
About 30 mins. in I thought "thats it, I am beat" but somehow I got through and I feel pretty good now.
I have made it through all 3 workouts from BSS2 this week, plus one bike day. Yahoo.

How long have you guys been using the FIRM?
At what point did you feel you were ready to up your weights from 3lbs to 5lbs, etc?

Congrats SeptBride on the size 12!

Have a great weekend.
