FIRMIES!
I did Body Sculpt Blaster w/ Nancy. I had a near miss when one of my 7 lb. weights slipped out-of-my-hand when I was placing it on my shoulder to do squats. It JUST missed my foot when it hit the floor, making such a noise that I'm surprised it didn't wake DSs. Despite my pounding heart, I recovered my weight & continued my workout...'cause that's what FIRMIES do.
Panfan,
FIRM workouts are divided into three categories: Cardio (C), Cardio and Sculpt (C+S) and Sculpt (S). I started with sculpting tapes, which I found easier to master (little or no "fancy" footwork) and you really see results, esp. in your fanny & arms. I've actually gotten used to people (mostly women!) commenting on my fanny & arms!
I agree w/ ZerasPride on BSS2 (Cardio Sculpt, Body Sculpt & Ab Sculpt) as a good starter. Body Sculpt can be broken into two segments: Upper & Lower Body. Ab Sculpt uses no weights, but concentrates on your stomach/abs.
Another good starter is the "old" Firm Parts 4 pk. which has "Upper Body" "Standing Legs" "Tough Tape 2" and "5-Day Abs". They are all sculpting tapes & these are the tapes that I started with. "Standing Legs" is the only tough one in this foursome. Don't rush out & buy alot of tapes. You are wise to think carefully and seek advice on your first purchases. This is a good group to use as a sounding board. Then I suggest getting 2-3 tapes & trying to master at least 1 or 2 before adding to your collection. Good luck. We'll try to give you all the support you want.
Weekend is here! Funny how I associate weekends with doing longer FIRM tapes!
Have a happy & healthy day! SGG
