Ahh the memories. Since I can't be my OCD self next week with starting threads I'll do it today!

I've worked out Sat, Sun and Mon with the older tapes, tough tape and Lord forget it can't remember the names but man they were all an hour long and today I'm dying. My thighs are killing me.

OK now for something different, went to Walmart to spend my gift certificate and got what I thought was a new tape but it was actually just repackaged. It's lower body sculpt with Lisa Kay so since it's a DVD you can't return it. So who wants it. I would be happy to send it to someone who doesn't have it. Just PM me and I'll pop it in the mail.

Have a great day.

Today was CAWT with Emily. I was really sweating today! ::yes::

s&k's mom~ Thanks for starting the thread today! Great job getting your exercise in over the weekend!:Pinkbounc

Have a great day!

Tracy:wave2:

P.S. s&k's mom~ I sent you a PM....

FIRMIES!
Saturday was Cardio Sculpt w/ Allie. Sunday was Super Body Sculpt w/ Stephanie. I'm particularly proud of Sunday, because I exercised in the evening. I'm a dedicated AM exerciser and I've found that if it doesn't happen in the AM, the whole day gets away from me (& exercise) So, even though I had to do the "shorter" SBS, rather than my hour long weekend tape, I'm proud that Sunday didn't develop into an "unscheduled" off-day.

I didn't read your last post until this AM. Maybe my own SB experience can help you. When I committed to losing weight, I lost steadily. Once in a while, there would be no loss, but I never GAINED. I think that this is one of the great things about SB! The first time that I gained weight, I was devastated. I hadn't had a bad week eating and I was so upset that I couldn't stop thinking about it. Luckily, I have co-dieter DH to rant to-- he was fully supportive- said all of the right things-- but I still could shake myself. Then I did a real no-no, I got back on the scale, even though I NEVER weigh myself more than once a week. The gain was still there. But one week later, the gain was gone! I never really figured out what happened, but I know that my weight loss is tied to regular bowel habits & fluid retention. A lb. or two is easily water-weight, perhaps due to a heavy hand w/ the salt. It's OK to be upset-- you've come to expect success. Focus on the smaller sized jeans--there far more important than what the scale says!

Have a happy & healthy day! SGG

Good afternoon FIRMies!

This morning I did cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay. It didn't seem as hard to me, maybe after calorie killer none of my work outs will seem as hard. Ha!

Does anyone work out everyday or does everyone take at least 1 rest day? Have any of you done two work outs in a day? I'm thinking doing the first 30 minutes of cardio sculpt with Allie from BSS1 tonight after work.

s&k'smom - thanks for getting us started. Great job on getting in your work outs over the weekend!

Tracy - isn't it funny how sometimes you can work out and it seems more intense than other times? Good job on your exercising!!!!

sueg - I'm a dedicated morning exerciser too. If I don't get up and do it first thing, it normally doesn't happen. I'm hoping to get in an extra work out after work this evening. We'll see if it happens. Good for you for making yours happen even though it wasn't in the morning like usual. Also, thanks so much for helpful words of advice. Sharing your experience makes me feel better. Yes, I am used to seeing results every week. But I guess after 30 weeks, it could stand to reason that I would reach a plateau or see a little gain every once in a while. I was just hoping I was one of those forunate people that this wouldn't happen too. It's a wake up call, that's for sure. Your DH sounds so supportive, mine was the same yesterday as he tried all the tricks up his sleeve to make me feel better. Nothing worked, but I didn't tell him that! I'm trying to focus like you said on smaller jeans. I just wish now I wish I would have bought them on Saturday! But just the thought that I could get into them is uplifting. Thanks so much for your words of wisdom!

lisa, you are reading my mind. I too and thinking about working out twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I have only been taking one rest day and working out the rest of the week. I took yesterday off, but I will work out the rest of the week everyday. Sunday July the 4th will probably be my next rest day. In other words, I am considering a 6 day workout with 3 days a week 2 times a day. I think my body needs a nudge

Hi guys! Hope everyone's having a Magical Monday! I was just checking in to give a little "hi" and hopefully spread some cheer to those who feel they may need some.

Hi Mel! I saw your post on the FIRM 18 thread last night. I thought maybe you'd gone on vacation because I haven't seen you post in a little bit. I hope everything's going OK for you, sweetie, and that you get back in the swing as soon as you're ready. Sometimes life's circumstances aren't always optimum for making yourself a priority. Sometimes you just feel blechy and down. Sending you good thoughts and wishes, Melanie, that you'll soon be Gettin' Down With The Fanny Lifter!

Hi s&k'smom! Great job getting in your workouts over the weekend! I'll tell you, you've got the greatest sense of humor, and I just love your turn of phrase! Keep up all your awesome work!

Hi Tracy! How is your new eating/working out program going?! I often think of you and your wonderfully supportive hubby--"whatta man, whatta man, whatta man, whatta a mighty good man (whatta mighty mighty good man!)!" Am I showing my age with that one? You are working so hard and I am so proud of you--keep on truckin'!

Hi sueg! Good for you for exercising in the evening! I, too, am a devoted morning exerciser--I won't do it if I don't do it first thing, either! Excellent example of dedication and motivation! You keep jammin' girl!:cool1:

Lisa my WISH Sis! Oh my--you must be tired of listening to all the ramblings that I've thrown your way the last few days! So I will refer you to my last post to you on the FIRM 18 thread. You have a few messages of love and encouragement there, posted after your last post--if you haven't read them already. Just know that you're so special to so many of us here, and that we love you! I hope you're feeling better today--I hate to "see" you so down, my Beautiful Babe! I'm wishing you lots of extra smiles and sunshine today--you already bring so many of them to all those around you! :) :sunny:

***Edited to add a big hi to sm4987!:wave2: Way to go realizing that you need to shake things up a bit! I hope you find a new workout routine that'll give you the JAZZ that you're looking for! Keep up the awesome work!

I'm doing just great with my exercise program! I did a brand new Cathe the other day for which I can use my FL! Well low and behold (as I told Lisa) I'm huffing and puffing along when I noticed some familiar music from my beloved Allie's Cardio Sculpt! It really made me smile!:teeth:

I hope all my FIRMie Friends have a lovely day!

Afternoon Firmies-
Didn't get a chance to post to the thread on the Weekend- so reporting in now FIrst I bow :worship: to all of you that have been doing this awhile. I used the Fanny Lifter for the first time Sat and WOW. I couldn't even use the fully assembled one- I was too nervous I was gonna fall! I was thinking of trying CAWT with Emily- but after watching that one- I'm gonna get a little more experience on some others first.
So I did Max Cardio Burn? with Allie on Sat. On Sunday DD and I went for a 45 min walk then later I did Calorie Killer with Nancy. Well tried to do it- I am still working on some of the fancy footwork on the Lifter. And today when I stretch I can feel my stomach muscles are sore. And I am happy!:teeth: Must have done something right!

I am so happy to read about everyone else's exercise success- it motivates me to know it can be done- and with such style. Each and everyone of you are such a great inspiration to my (and I am sure all) of our journeys. :sunny:

What is it about calorie killer and the fancy footwork. It still has be confused. I watched it (understand watched it:teeth: ) again today to really look at the moves. What a lot of practice this tape is going to take me

I have completed my first step to becoming a firmie.....I ordered the Body Sculpting System 2 with the extra videos (Firm Abs, Upper Body Sculpt, & Calorie Killer). I'm eagerly awaiting my shipment. In the meantime, I'll continue to exercise & I've put a few of the Firm dvds on my Netflix queue so I can try them out. I know the Firm site says 4-6 weeks for shipping but does it REALLY take that long?? I paid in 1 payment for upgraded priority shipping but it didn't say how long that will take.

yes, it takes that long. I ordered some tapes 2 weeks before my Disney vacation. It came when I got back and I was at Disney for 10 days. It was about 4 weeks, but it was worth it. I now have a little firm collection.

OMG FIRMies! I know this is a FIRM thread, but I just have to share this news that is making me CLIMB THE WALLS with excitement!

Many of you know about my Cathe Friedrich obsession. Well, I was just over at her site( www.cathe.com ) where she has announced that she'll be filming another workout series! It's called.......HARDCORE!!! It'll be a 10-pack + bonus hard-as-nails workout set designed to be used together as it's own rotation for maximum strength and cardio gains! I am in Heaven...:cloud9: They'll be filming in the fall, so I'm guessing it'll be out by Christmas/New Year! I am so pumped to see what she means by "Hardcore!" I mean, that's how I describe her workouts now!

I don't mean to hijack the thread. I just am SO BEYOND EXCITED and I know you fitness junkies will understand!

WOO HOO!!! :thewave:

Kim - thanks for directing me back to last week's thread. I appreciate everything you said! And please don't ever feel that you are rambling. You have walked the road I am currently on and I was feeling lost, you and my other WISH sisters are showing me the way back so I can reach my goal. I appreciate it so much!!!!! Don't you dare stop making long "rambling" posts. They are my lifeline!!! :) I still can't believe I got into those size 14 jeans at my weight. I know I work out like a fiend but it just doesn't seem possible. I guess I shouldn't argue with results though.

Sheree - thanks so much to you again. I probably sound like a broken record at this point but I was feeling so down this weekend. I wasn't thinking about giving up but I didn't think I could go on. Hearing your experiences and having you share your pearls of wisdom with me just means so much. You guys just don't know how much I value and appreciate the support I get here.

Mel - it's so nice to see you posting with us. I know you'll get it together. I'm sure you miss your FIRM-fix and we definitely have missed you. Know that we are thinking of you and hoping that everything is well with you and yours.

Each of FIRM-sisters has helped me so much. Your example of perseverance with your exercise and eating habits spur me on when I want to sit dow on the pavement and call it quits. A big hug and a big sloppy kiss on the cheeck to each of you guys for helping me get over this hump!puckerup:

CruisingCA2005 - Welcome to the FIRM thread! I'm sure you'll hooked like the rest of us in no time.

Kim - never thought anybody would be referring to me as a "fitness junkie". When I first read it I thought you must be talking to someone else but yep, I'm in good company and a definite bonafide FIRM Freak or geek as the case may be! Cathe's work outs sound intense and very advanced to me. You go girl!!!!!! I thought for a minute you were going to tell us you were going to be featured in one of her work out videos. I would have gone out and bought it just so I could see you sweatin' it out!!!! :)

Which of the Firm DVDs can I use without the fanny blaster & the sculpting stick? I don't want to wait a month to get my Firm supplies so in the meantime I'm going to borrow a few dvds. Thanks!!

Lisa,

Cathe has already called me with an offer to appear as her co-star in her new "Hardcore" series. However, I have notified her of my intentions to do so ONLY if you, my WISH Sis, be included as a member of the cast. It is stipulated that we be positioned in the front row--I shall accept nothing less. We are in negotiations as I type.

Let's do lunch. I'll have my people call your people.:cool2:

O.k. down to business for me. Today I did calorie killer AND lower body sculpt 1 with Lisa. May I just say ouch!!!! Upping your workouts can be hard on the body. My legs are screaming like you wouldn't believe. Oh well, I'm trying to blast off some fat here.

CruisingCA2005-I hope that some of the lady's here can help you. All of the tapes that I have use it. Or, if you can afford it, go to Amazon and buy some tapes. I had mine here in 2 days through them and it didn't cost me a fortune in shipping either.

Sheree - I'm with you on the 2 work outs in one day. Ouch!!! This morning I did cardio sculpt blaster and tonight I came straight home from work and did 1/2 of cardio sculpt from BSS1 with Allie. It was tough working out at night! I just wanted to see if I could do two work outs in one day. We'll been there, gals, done that and don't plan on going back! I'm thorougly exhausted. I might try it again maybe when I'm under 200 pounds. Could someone keep reminding me how big I truly am. Geesh! :) Anyway, on a serious note, I am glad I tried it.

Kim - Oh my, I can tell you right now that I will not be doing any of Cathe's work outs in the near and probably even in the distance future! Not unless you guys want scenes of a woman being rushed by ambulance to the nearest ER on the video. That wouldn't sell too many copies, I can assure you! I think I'm more of a Pilates kinda gal. :duck:

Okay, FIRMies, nighty night. See you all tomorrow!

Morning all. luvmydogs, when your a rich and famous aerobics instructor will you remember us!;)

I have about 22 tapes and I've numberd them to keep them straight in this am was supposed to be an old Jen Carmen tape but I couldn't face to another hour long tape so I switched to body sculpt which is only 40 minutes.

sm4927 way to go on two workouts.

Have a good day everyone!

Morning FIRMies!
Well, I was supposed to do MCB+ Abs with Allie today. However, when I woke up, I wasn't feeling well so I decided that today will be a rest day. If I start feeling better later, I may do Cardio Sculpt Blaster. I peeked at the scale yesterday and I am up 3 pounds!:earseek: Yikes! I guess those carb fests last week were not a good idea.;)

Have a great day!:sunny:
