HI, Would anyone know what time fireworks are and in which park/parks??Thanks, I am trying to plan dinner times and can not seem to find this info. Joan

Fireworks are at 10pm at Universal Studios. They last about 10 minutes. Best viewing is standing around the lagoon. However, we grabbed drinks and watched July 5-7 sitting in the cortyard at PBH. (Incidentally, we were at US lagoon for the July 4th fireworks and they were incredible - much longer, more elaborate show!)

Snowsdad, Thanks for the quick reply!! Joan

They (Shooting Stars Fireworks) are at 9:50 pm, if you show up at 10:00 pm you will have missed them.

Yup. 950pm at the Lagoon's Edge in USF.

IOA is not having them this year...

Whoa! thanks for that heads up! I thought they were still at IOA! Boy, would I have felt silly, making the whole family find a good spot early over in IOA, only to see/hear fireworks off in the distance! lol........with all the planning I've done, it would take a while to live that one down!!!!!!!! So, where's a good spot to view them in US??

Are the fireworks nightly and will they have them in Sept? thanks! :)

Fireworks are nightly until 8/7. On 8/8 there will be no fireworks until the Christmas peak.

Some of the best viewing areas are as follows:

-On the bridge that connects Jaws to BTTF.
-By the oval MIB sign.
-On the front side (facing the lagoon) of Lombard's Landing or Richter's
-Along the rocks (Central Park) across from Cafe Labamba
-Along the little strip that runs from in front of BTTF to the front of the IFFF
-Battery Park

Best thing to do--

If you go directly to the DW site you can click on the calendar. If you click on each date separately it will give you the times of the parades and fireworks. You must view each park individually and click on the date. There are not fireworks everynight at that time of year but at least a few times per week.
September is there now.

That way you can plan your park visits accordingly. You don't want to miss Wishes! It is truly magical!

dkrause716, since this question is in the Universal Studios forum, I assume the parks they are asking about are Univeral/Islands of Adventure not Disneyworld.

I watched the fireworks last night in front of Louies and that is a good location to watch it from. I think they had soo oops fireworks last night. After most of the park was cleared they launched about another 30 shells from one of the locations that is from behind the park.

Watched Fireworks from Portofino Beach Pool Most Nights. Excellent view from just to the left of the slide. Relaxing very Relaxing. Fireworks statred at 9:50 and ended as the Lifeguard blew the whistle to close the pool.
