Fireworks

I need hints for the Fireworks game so i get better and actually come in first again plz give me hints

Okay... always strive for perfection. That is my first lesson. In the first level, try your best to get 'flawless.' Wait until the very last moment (stars over the icon), then click.

In later levels, do not worry about flawless, just try to click every single firework.

I agree with Pirate, go for the flawless on level 1 and 2. From there just try to make sure you get them all. I am not the best by any stretch of the Figment (lol), but not too bad either.

I agree with what the first two posters have said, flawless is important on level one and somewhat so on level two. Believe it or not, your brain will eventually just automatically know the right time to click, and you will fall into a rhythm (and your score will improve a lot!). The only thing I have to add is to try to be aware of the shortest way to get to each firework. Sometimes going a direction you're not used to will get you there in only one or two clicks, vs. having to scroll through the whole list and likely missing it. The trick is to remember to do this (which I still have trouble with sometimes, and I usually get in the high 230's) -- good luck! Also, there is a fireworks video out there somewhere that WDWTigger made that shows how to get them all in some of the trickier combinations. That helped me quite a bit. I will try to find and post the link.

I have improved my fireworks a lot but I still don't understand a lot of the tricks that get ppl high scores. When I try to wait until flawless I miss a lot of the fireworks entirely. So I find that I score better if I get all of the fireworks with mostly awesomes than waiting for flawless and missing several per round. Another thing is don't you miss getting other fireworks by waiting until the last minute for the flawless? I guess I'm just still a little confused on how to get those super high scores.

No, if you have a lot of practice you can get almost entirely flawless and not miss any on the earlier rounds, and a majority of flawless on the last rounds and still not miss but a few.

The game is all about timing and the only way to program your brain to the timing is lots and lots of practice.

The really high scores come this way and no other. In fact, I find it's my impatience (hitting the slower ones too soon to move to others) that usually lowers my scores.

But until you have the timing down, clicking too late will be the first major hurdle.

Keep the cursor to the edge of the firework as you follow it to its star so you can see clearly. Putting it right on top doesn't net you any more points and often clouds you vision on the complete star.

Good point, DemonLlama -- you do not have to be right on the star to click. There is quite a bit of leeway, and it's usually better to be next to it than to be right on top of it.
