Hello, all! I had a question about viewing the fireworks in the hub. I have no problem staking out a spot for the fireworks early, we have done this before - when CMs allow it, of course! The only issue making me hesitant is that my mom will be in an ECV or wheelchair off and on throughout the trip due to a recent knee replacement surgery. She can sort of sit on the ground, but frequently needs to stand to stretch her legs which is difficult when fully seated and especially in a sardine-like crowd.
Are ECV scooters or wheelchairs allowed to be parked in the viewing area right in front of the castle? I would worry about the chair blocking the view of others while seated, however from what I have seen in recent videos this area is standing only. I think if she could sit in a wheelchair for waiting and then stand for the duration of the fireworks (or sit in the wheelchair if need be) then this would be a perfect option. Any experience with this?
I was half tempted to look into doing a VIP tour just for the seating, but it would be a waste since we wouldn't want to do the ride portion of the tour.
