We're heading to WDW in 41 days for our first trip since 2013 - can't wait to see all the changes!

In previous trips one of our favourite places to watch Wishes was at the railings on the pathway between Casey's and The Crystal Palace, looking across to the castle. It was a great place to wait with some food and have a reasonably unobstructed view.

I know there have been changes to the hub and I'm wondering if any of the changes have impacted my favourite spot. Does anyone else watch the new fireworks from here? Is it still a good view?

You can still watch Happily Ever After at the railings on the pathway between Casey's and The Crystal Palace, looking across to the castle.
It will be no worse than before (which is to say that it is not an ideal location, due to
trees and other obstructions to the main fireworks.)

Below is a rough estimate of the Happily Ever After Fireworks viewing spots
on the south side of Cinderella Castle.

One of my favorite spots to try to get to is the garden area just in front of what you describe above - right under where it says "All Guests Open Viewing" in @Robo's map. This area is new from your last visit... it has spots of fake grass and lots of planter/borders around it. It was originally used as a reserved FP fireworks viewing area, but that didn't last too long. People still tend to overlook this area because it sort of 'looks' like it's reserved, but it's not.

For reference, there is a mirror image "garden area" on the other side in front of The Plaza restaurant that is reserved for the Tomorrowland Terrace with Garden Viewing dessert party.

Hope that helps!
