Hello,
DH and I are arriving on Saturday, 7/27 for a week long stay at the Poly (1st time!) We are celebrating my 50th birthday. We arrive around noon and have just resort day plans until I have Narcoossee's booked for dinner at GF at 7:30pm.

Should we stay there and watch the HEA fireworks or try to get back to the Poly beach? Would we even have time? Which is better from a viewing vantage point?

Thanks for the input!

you should be able to see from Narcoossees patio just as well as at the Poly.
You will see the fireworks and hear the music. You will miss all the castle projections (just as you do anytime you are not in the park ).

With fireworks at 9:15, I agree with the PPs, I’d enjoy a nice long dinner, another glass of wine (if so inclined), and watch from Narcoossee’s. I do like the viewing angle better at Poly than GF, but that’s pretty minor and since you’re going to be at Narcoossee’s close to fireworks time anyway, I’d stay there.

With a 7:30 ADR and 9:15 HEA, you probably wouldn't make it back to Poly in time unless you rushed your meal (you'd probably be in transit from GF to Poly right smack in the middle of HEA). My guess is, if you do the whole app, entrée and dessert thing, you'll be finishing up right around 9. If you partake in libations, order another, settle up the bill and head on out to the porch/deck to view and leave right after. If not, just settle up the bill before HEA and hang out on the deck/porch. Or, another option might be to see if you can move your ADR back to 8:15 or so and then you can time your meal so that HEA falls between your entrée and dessert.

In any case, I don't think with a 7:30 ADR you'd make it to the Poly beach in time.

Stay at Narcoosees!!!

My mom and I were there last month; our reservation was at Narcoosees at 7:20, and it was perfect timing to go outside onto the Veranda and watch the fireworks after.
