Just where exactly is the viewing for Wishes when you use FP+? I'm trying to find out if I need to use it, or if it's nowhere near where we typically stand. Thanks!!!

I'm sure Robo has a map, but the general consensus around here seems to be that using FP+ for fireworks or parade is a waste.

the viewing area is in the "rose garden" area slightly to the right of the hub. You are a little off center below the zip line for Tink to fly.

We used one of our fast passes there one night as we arrived late and I knew the kids would want to see the fireworks.

It is a nice grassy area not crowded at all on our particular night.

We brought our own dessert and a blanket (the grass was a bit wet) sat and watched the castle projection show (not nearly as impressive from the side as from the front...but nice).

Most people around us were far enough as to not block our view as we were sitting...though I don't know if that would always be the case.

I thought it was nice...we arrived 10 minutes or so before the projection show...

When I used it 2 weeks ago they didn't let us onto the grass. It wasn't fun being crammed into the walkway. :(

We were there on Saturday Jan 25th and we were allowed to sit on the grass. It was a nice area to watch the fireworks and Tinker Bell fly directly over top of us.

Thanks, Robo. :)

I wouldn't say either one of those are prime viewing for the respective event. :scratchin For some reason I'd thought the parade viewing was on the opposite side, which would be prime IMHO. Sitting on the grass for the fireworks would be nice but I'd prefer to be more centered myself. OTOH, if I had a kid who "had" to see the parade, it'd be worth it to me just because I hate waiting; add in the hassle of dealing with people trying to squeeze in and the parade FP has some appeal for me. Ditto the fireworks on a crowded day.

But I can see why it'd be a waste of an FP for most of people.

If you choose FP+ for MSEP only, I've included red arrows to show where to MOVE
for viewing Wishes (and Celebrate the Magic) right after the parade passes the parade FP+ reserved area.

We used a FP+ for MSEP last week. It's a really slow time of year and we do rope drop so I felt like saving at least an hour of wait time was worth the FP. The area was a huge half circle on the hub directly facing the castle. We walked up 10 mins before the parade and were right up front dead center on the castle perfect for MSEP and the laser show on the castle. It is a little too close for perfect on wishes but not bad either. It was GREAT with little kids because they got up front and the roped off area was very spacious.
