We are planning to stay at Boardwalk Inn for one night on New Year's Eve 2021-22. This will be right after a Disney cruise. We've been wanting to stay again at BWI for quite a while, and that's our next chance.

I know BWI has no official fireworks view room category, but is there a room type that tends to have a fireworks view? I'd like to see some on NYE, but not up close in the parks as they're too loud for my ears due to a medical disorder. Watching from a balcony would be ideal, although we could step out onto the Boardwalk if needed.

We might want to stay club level, but that's not a necessity. It's just an option. TIA for any advice.

Although this picture was taken from the lounge balcony, we had stayed in a room 2-3 doors from the lounge and had a similar view of the fireworks. If you want this view, book a Standard club room and request a Garden View closest to the lounge.

I also want to add that this shot was of a small burst of the fireworks. They had much bigger, higher and more impressive fireworks that were never captured.

Posts like this is what makes disboards so great. Great tip on such a specific question.

Thank you! I will do exactly that.

This is the view from room 4302. It’s a garden view room very close to the elevators - so a very convenient location. If you look closely, you can see the top of SE just to the side of the chimney on the left side of the picture. We could also hear the music and see the higher flying kites from Epcot Forever. I’d imagine the view would be even better from the fifth floor!

Two years ago we were in a room two floors directly down from this one, and could still see the higher fireworks through the trees. In the warmer months, those views would have been obstructed by tree leaves, though.

If CL is in your budget, that view from the lounge looks fantastic!
