DH and I are taking DS age 2 to WDW for our last Disney trip as a family of 3 in september (baby #2 is coming in november).

is it at all possible to see the fireworks from a lake view one bedroom at BLT? you know, besides seeing their reflection from the lake?

thanks everyone! :)

If you have an even numbered room, possibly. Those are on the outside of the C and may have a view of the magic kingdom.

If you get an even numbered room on the North side you have a chance to see the MK fireworks...

If you get an even numbered room on the South side you have a chance to see the Epcot Fireworks (but no sound on the tv)..

I believe both rooms will give you a chance to see the electric water pageant from your room - we had a South side even number (8th floor) and it was a great view of epcot and then the water pageant every night!! DS4 and DD4months often slept through them, but we enjoyed them from the balcony!!

So - I would definitely suggest an even numbered room request!

It would not be against my travel style to put DS2 asleep in a stroller and walk up to TOTWL for a night! But my kids both transfer in their sleep pretty well!!!

Have fun!

Do all of the BLT TV's have the fireworks music? We have stayed a few times with a lake view but I could never find the music on the TV.

:earsboy: Bill

I found the music on the resort information station on the tv. Also a good spot to watch the fireworks is outside of the front door to the towers. You can hear the music and have a perfect view of the show.

excellent! thanks for the responses! i'm going to call MS and put a request in for an even-numbered room. i know that they won't necessarily honor it but it's worth a try! it would be nice to have the option of seeing the fireworks!

i think we'll try the TOTWL once too. we'll see. by that time, DS(age2) might be exhausted and my then 30 weeks pregnant self may be sound asleep

Last Oct. we had 1 bdr lake view room at BLT. It was on the north end of the tower on a higher floor and it was a perfect view of the MK fireworks. Sorry I can't remember our room number.

We put in the request for the even numbered/north side/high floor too, so keep your fingers crossed for us. (Or, even better, fingers crossed that the MK view waitlist comes through! It's marathon week though, so not a good chance...)

I've stayed in a lake view twice now and the only view I got in my odd-numbered room was the guy in his boxer shorts across the balcony from me....not a pretty sight at all. I was right above the community center both times (once was lake view and once was standard view) and could not even see the electric water parade (though I could hear it). We are back at BLT next month and I asked for an even number. This is my third time, so I think it is my turn now. I have a standard 1 bedroom, so I've got my fingers crossed this time.

Yeah, we had a great view of the people across from us, too... :sad2: But TOWL is great, we went over a couple of nights.
