fireworks/parade at magic kingdom??

frantically trying to do last minute planning for our trip (we leave wed from cali) and having not been to wdw for 8 years need lots of help

where are some good spots we can watch both the electrical light parade and fireworks?

Good spots to see the parade away from the busy Main Street and Hub areas are near the Hall of Presidents
or deep in Frontierland, somewhere past Country Bears.

You will have time to walk from your parade spot back to a fireworks viewing spot, after the parade passes.

A look at the Parade Route
Disney's Electrical Parade and the 3 O'Clock Parade both start near the Firehouse and exit near Splash Mtn.
MVMCP and MNSSHP Parades both start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Below is a rough estimate of the Fireworks viewing spots
based on other posters' info on the boards and personal experience.

I would suggest checking out the 11:00 parade instead of the 9:00 one. EVERYONE seems to want see the parade at 9 so its impossible to get any good spots in front of the castle. However, if you decide to wait around until the 11 o'clock showing, you'll have a better chance.
