Fireworks on the 4th of July?

Can you see any fireworks if you are on the Boardwalk? Any other good suggestions for a non-park place to see the fireworks??

Outside of the park this is the best area to be to see them. You can see them very well still from the beach at Port Royale at Caribbean Beach REsort. You can even hear the music here.

Non park: Stay at Boardwalk and if you dont do that, go to CBR to view, but Boardwalk is best. The show is just incredible!

However, I have to say that the best place is in the park (at least this past year). They started the finale over the America Pavilion and it had the visual effect that could only be admired in the park. However the finale is just insane and can be seen anywhere.

My wife and mother were at our hotel about 1 mile down West Irlo Bronson Blvd and they heard the finale from INSIDE THE ROOM!

They didnt know that what was it was either. About 2 minutes after the finale (I was in the park with my dad), I get a call on my cell asking if something was going on somewhere because they heard the very loud rumbling. After I hung up with her, I realized they heard the show's finale.

Thanks! Any other suggestions? Can't decide if we should do MGM early and then go to EPCOT for the fireworks or just stay clear of the parks for the day??

Last 4th of July we had dinner at Ohana's on the 4th and did the Grand Gathering Fireworks Voyage on the 3rd of July (same exact fireworks on the 3rd and the 4th).
