fireworks on Grad Nights?

We will be at the Poly this Sat and was wondering if there will be any fireworks for grad night we can watch from the lagoon??

We are leaving in 7 hours and unfortunatley there are no Wishes for either Friday or Saturday.

There are fireworks during grad night, and you can see them from outside MK. We saw them last week from the CR, and it looked like Wishes.

My frienda just got back yesterday. They did not have Wishes on Sat for Grad night. They stayed at the Poly and walked down to the water. Got seats and were sitting for a bit. Then a CM came around and told them there was no Wishes because of Grad night. I don't know about this week but last week there was none. Have fun. Brenda

See - I think they do have them but they are later on in the night, not at 9pm - correct??? Well I am off to bed. I will ask a CM when arrive

Grad Night doesn't start until 10:00pm, so it would have to be after that.

Grad night started at 7pm on the 22 and 23rd.

I was there last Friday night the 22nd during grad night. We stayed at the Grand Floridian. I had to go to the front desk at midnight so I could get my boarding passes printed out for Southwest. On my way out the fireworks were going off so they go off just after midnight. It wasn't Wishes though just nice fireworks.

Thanks for posting that website! I am hoping I can find out when Grad Nights are for next year through that. I want to book my trip around those night.

There have been other posts saying that there were fireworks at midnight on Grad Nights.

We just got back from an 8-day trip that included both weekends of Grad Nights.

Magic Kingdom officially closes to the general public at 7:00 pm.

However, they do not begin letting in the grads until 10:00 pm. This gives them a chance to clean up, re-stock, etc. The party for the grads is officially from 10:00 pm until 4:00 am.

We stayed at the Poly, and had a letter from the management that warned us that fireworks would be going off at midnight on Saturday night (of both weekends). I'm glad for the warning, as it was loud enough to wake us up. And it isn't Wishes; it is just a fireworks show.

I was pleased that other than the fireworks, we didn't hear anything else; (we had been told it could get loud - even at the Poly).
