Fireworks & Monorail Questions

We arrive on Thursday (March), staying at POFQ, no ADRs planned for the first day in case we have travel issues. We plan to ride the boat to DD and go to WPE or EOS for something to eat.

Where/when would be a good place to watch fireworks our first night there?

Also, we want to ride the monorail for the experience at some point during the week. I'm not sure when/where that would be convenient or possible, so I'm posting our ADRs and tentative park plans:

Friday - MK
Crystal Palace (D)

Saturday -Epcot
BBB a.m. appt. in DD for DD(5);
Akershus (D)

Sunday - AK
Tusker House (B)

Monday - SeaWorld

Tuesday - HS?
Hollywood & Vine (B)
Flying Fish (D)

Wednesday - MK or AK?
Garden Grill (D)

Keeping in mind we likely will hit the parks in the AM and early afternoon, then head back to POFQ to relax a bit. Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you

For your first night, you could take the bus to the MK then hit the resort monorail to the Poly. Grab a Dole Whip in their Counter Service (Cap'n Cooks) and sit out on the beach to watch the fireworks. Find a chair near a speaker so you can hear the music.

You can also watch them from the Transportation Center at the boat launch. It is a great view from there and they pipe in the music.

If you watch from the Poly, you can either take the monorail or boat back to the MK then catch the bus to POFQ from there. You could also catch the monorail to the MK by walking to TTC from the Poly.

Or you could take a taxi back directly to your resort from the Poly or the TTC.

I second going to Poly. Drinks on the beach are a great way to enjoy Wishes.

Thank you for the great suggestions! I've written them down so I don't lose them. I think I'm most excited about the Dole Whip idea
