Fireworks making me think I'm at BWV!

Can anybody else hear fireworks in their local communities? I have heard them for the last 2 nights and for a while I almost think I am at BWV and Illuminations is kicking off! Wishful thinking!

I just got home a little while ago from watching a fabulous fireworks display here at the jersey shore. As I was watching I couldn't help but imagine I was on Main Street watching Wishes or on a BCV balcony watching the fireworks we could see from Illuminations. I imagine there are many disers who have already or will experience these same feelings.

We've been hearing them all week and can't stop thinking of WDW! We've tried to fashion our back deck and yard to resemble the Boardwalk. How I wish we could see Illuminations just by walking out the backdoor. LoL

Fireworks at home just aren't that exciting for me anymore. They don't even come close to the MK and Epcot fireworks!!!!

We went to Frisco for their festivities.

I really missed WDW, because Frisco hosted a concert by none other than KOOL & THE GANG!!! They do the F&W fest every year!! Then as we were leaving the fireworks started going off. I kept saying "Wiiishesssss!" everytime a crack would go off! Lol!

DH was not amused

So in my own mind, I had a little taste of Disney, although those fireworks couldnt hold a firecracker to WDW.

Last night my DD and I watched the fireworks from her bedroom window! It made me miss BWV. I told Dh that one of these years we will have to go to WDW for the 4th just so I can see the display!

Yesterday we were watching the fireworks and just as they started going off my 6 year old daughter starts singing..."Wishes, dream a dream..." We listen to the Wishes soundtrack in the car all the time, little did I know she had it memorized! I asked her what she was doing and she said "going to Disney World in my head."
