How crowded is the TTC during MK fireworks and are how hard is it to get the ferry? Not sure if a lot of people try to time their ride with the fireworks.

It was some years ago, but DH and I left the MK early intending to miss the post-fireworks crowd. Just as we left the ferry, the music started, and we stayed to watch the fireworks from near the dock (the entire audio of the show played there). Very few people were there, and we had an excellent view. It may have been before the days of projections, but I don’t think those can be seen from the TTC. We were in our car on the way home before the hordes of people started lining up for parking trams.

We're locals and did this about a month ago. We exited the park about 8:45; our ferryboat left the MK dock at 8:55 and was about 1/4 full, and we got to the TTC dock ~9:10. When the fireworks started there were a few dozen people there, but 2 other boats docked during the show and there were maybe 150-200 by the end. They pipe in the sound, but the speakers are off to the left as you face the lagoon, and the sound is fairly faint toward the right where the best viewing is. You're way too far away to see the projections and Tinkerbell is just a tiny speck, but if you're mainly interested in the fireworks themselves you can't beat the combination of great view and sparse crowds.
