Are there places to watch the fireworks from the Hotels? Our flight is now arriving later than when we initially booked so I am not sure we will make it into the Parks on our arrival day but I would love to be able to see fireworks on our first night. We are staying at Paradise Pier. I know the pool is on the roof ... are you allowed up there during the fireworks?

THANK YOU in advance for any and all info!

Paradise Pier does have a designated fireworks viewing area on the "pool deck", yes. They even pipe in the music there. The pool is not on the actual roof though. ;)

I did watch the fireworks there one night and the view was surprisingly good.

Yay! This is so good to know! And I have to ask ... where is the pool? Guess I have to really look at the pictures!

Third floor, right when you leave the main elevators. Can't miss it. Once you're outside just turn right and walk to the end of the roof. There's some lounge chairs there, seems this is used as a smoking area throughout the day. Don't go up to the actual pool, I fell for that too.

They call it "rooftop pool", but I have a hard time using that description because it's not on the actual top floor.
