Fireworks from Poly..??

I am wondering just how good the view is of MK fireworks from 'Ohana's ? Can you still see them if you are not seated in front of the window ? Is it acceptable to get up and move to see them when they start - is there a place to go, or would that be really rude ?? I have NEVER been to POLY or Ohana's. What about watching from the beach ?? How close is Poly to MK ?? TIA !

I cant tell you about Ohanas but the view from the beach is GREAT! The Poly is right across the lagoon from MK so there is a lovely view of the castle and the fireworks. You can get a drink at the pool bar and enjoy the fireworks from the beach!

I haven't ever been in 'Ohana at night, but we had a window seat for breakfast, and I took a fabulous picture of the castle in MK, the view was great. So I would think that at night you should be able to see the fireworks from some parts of the restaurant. The tables were packed pretty tight, so I don't know if you could get up to see them if your table wasn't right by the window.

This past Oct we were hoping to get a window seat at O'Hana's but didnt. Once the fireworks started going off and we realized we couldnt see very well we booked it to the beach - actually better to hear from the pool area.

So, it's ok then to just get up and leave your table for a while to go watch on the beach?? What about the music to Wishes ? I have PS for 8:40pm for 4th of July. Last year Wishes started at 9pm. There will be 10 of us. Do you think this is a good choice ?? Anybody have pictures of the view ??
