Is it possible to see MK fireworks from INSIDE a theme park view room at the Contemporary Resort? Like from sitting on the bed? TIA :)

Yes. Not sure about from the bed exactly (depending on the room's positioning of furniture), but if you go up to the sliding door you can see them.

In odd numbered TPV rooms you can see MK / the castle from the bed closest to the window. Some people will request an odd numbered room because of this.

Also related, fireworks audio is played in Channel 105.

Is it also true that those odd numbered rooms only have showers while even numbered rooms have tubs?

Hmmm... I don't know - that wasn't the case pre-renovation but not sure we've seen enough real reports since the renovation for anyone to have tracked it yet. Although the two rooms in the Tower I've stayed in since renovation did fit that pattern - even had a tub and odd had a shower. (Side note, I may not love the Incredibles stuff but I do really love the renovated bathrooms... tub or shower, both are lovely spaces, IMHO)

I’m not sure, but we did have TPV with a tub and the room was flipped so we couldn’t see the fireworks from our bed (we went out on the patio and had a great view). For some reason, we couldn’t find the music on the TV and ended up syncing up our iPhone.

Yeah, the TV channel is messed up from the way it has been in the past. I may have this wrong but I think we had to physically type in 105, we couldn't scroll to it (I'm not 100% sure I'm remembering that right but I think I am). The channel is frozen on the screen below... no sound or anything at all other than fireworks audio when the show starts. Not exactly guest friendly, but at least it works.

Thanks for that tip. Will try it next time. I would never have figured it out. Why make it so difficult Mickey??

How did you do this? What did you sync it to?

We are going to have a TP view in BLT next year, and I will try 105 on the TV, but if it doesn't work I'd love another option.

Oh we just found a YouTube video of enchantment and tried to sync them up by pausing and starting the audio at the exact time the first firework went off.

Ah, okay, I was afraid of that... hah.

But better than nothing!

One more question, since we haven't stayed there: Do you (or anyone) know if you can hear the music at all when out on the balcony at BLT? Maybe a bleed from the park or from the 4th floor observation area at the Contemporary?

Thanks again!

Curious what the BLT regulars have to say but I’ve stayed TPV at BLT twice in the last two years and my recollection was “sort of/not really.” You get a fair amount of other ambient noise depending on where your room is… HVAC plants and other noises towards the park, exhaust fans around the CR service dock, MK buses, car alarms going off with the fireworks. It’s sort of a mess of noise, although location/floor/wind direction plays a role. HTH.

I concur. Trying to listen with the door open is a poor choice, to the point of, don't bother.
The TV works. Finding the channel can be a challenge as you've learned, since they moved it but it is there.
Just make yourself a note of the channel somewhere on your phone or something. That way you won't have to remember
