Fireworks from GCH?

Without having a park view room, is there a good/decent place to watch the fireworks from at the GCH? Thanks!

Actually, you do not have a fireworks view with the theme park view. Theme park view is the DCA construction pit. The fireworks are in DL. You need a DTD view. We had the DTD view last year and sat on the balcony to watch the fireworks over Build a Bear with music piped through the TV. I highly advise this view!!!

We're booked for a standard room so I'm assuming we won't end up with any kind of a view, so are there common areas at the GCH where you can see fireworks from? Thanks.

When you get to the hotel ask for an upgrade. We have been successful in asking for a park view upgrade from standard. If they have something available, I heard they are willing to do that.

You can stand in DTD and see them partially. You should also be able to see them from the esplanade.

We had a standard view, that looked at the courtyard, and other rooms, but we were over on the side by WOW, we couldn't see the castle but could see everything else from our balcony, with the TV sound piped in it was AWESOME!!!

Our room was on the sixth floor not far from the congierge if you are curious.
