Fireworks from Cindy's castle????

We are going to the World this weekend!! We have PS for dinner at 8:00 pmin the castle. What time does the fireworks start and can you see them from the castle? Any special area to request for the viewing?
It's my DD 9th birthday and she's bringing a friend (10) who has never been to Disney! We also have PS for Crystal Palace at 8:15 am. Can we look in the shops on Main Street before the park opens at 9:00?

the shops should be open after the park's official closing time, about a half hour. not sure if you can see the fireworks from the castle.

From what I've heard, you can only see the fireworks if you are sitting by a window, and even then not very well. I've never been inside though so maybe someone else will know better.

I actually had a similar question though. I am planning on doing CRT for dinner in Dec - and want to see Wishes, assuming they are showing that night. Any idea what time I should make the PS? Can I make a PS for after the park closes (IOW - after the fireworks?) or should I try to make it early so we'll be done eating by then?

Am I correct in assuming that the fireworks are always shown at the time the park is scheduled to close?

YES! YES! YES!!!! We saw the fireworks from inside the castle! That was the best place!!! It felt like they were going off only for us lucky people inside the castle. I know we had a window seat!
Usually, fireworks are for time of closing.
You can always have looong desert to stretch the time if need be!

Thank you for all the replys. I will definitly beg for a window seat. We will be celebrating my DD 9th birthday, so maybe they will take pity on me. I will have 3 kids with me, so I don't think they'll be done with dinner in an hour! We'll probably be the last ones out the door.
