I was going through the calendar events for our stay. I've come across a MAJOR conflict which I need advice for. On our last day at DL they are showing Fantasmic and the fireworks and at CA they are showing the electrical parade. I LOVE THEM ALL!! So now what? How do I choose? Are they all the same as WDW? Also, is it possible to see Fantasmic and the Fireworks? The fireworks are at 9:25 p.m. and Fantasmic is at 9:00 and 10:30 but I don't think my kids or my husband will last that long, especially since we have a 6:45 a.m flight the next morning. What should I do? HELP ME PLEASE!!

Of the three, the Remember Dreams Come True (RDCT)fireworks/laser/special effects show is the best and is the one to choose if you must, IMHO.

RDCT was designed to be viewed in the hub area in front of the castle. If you do not see it from there you will miss 80-90% of the show. If there are two showing of Fantasmic (at 9PM and 10:30PM) it is fairly easy to see RDCT first at 9:25 and then see the second Fantasmic showing. If you choose to see the first Fantasmic you will miss most of RDCT. Yes, you can see the fireworks part, but you will miss the show.

The timing and direction of the DEP at DCA was purposefully selected to make it very difficult to see DEP and then make it to DL to see RDCT. This is best done on a different night if possible.

We did RDCT and the DEP once when my cousin came to town. We raced from DCA and found the view really good at the railroad end of Main Street. Which is less far to run. Shows the whole effects of the castle and Main Street and is never as crowded.

I have to say I hardly ever watch the fireworks but RDCT is very impressive! When we do we always watch by the emporium cause we are always able to walk right up and get a spot and you can put a child on your shoulders and not block anyones view.

We followed another dis'ers tip and made it form DEP and made it in time to see the fireworks AND the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic all this past friday night. I will say it's a stretch and requires some quick foot action but it was do-able for us. I would say if it's a VERY busy day...it might not be as easy for you.
