fireworks @ downtown disney

Are there ever fireworks at Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney? I thought I had seen them going off from that area on a previous trip when we were playing putt-putt golf at the crossroads.

I think so. I think they go off every night at midnight for their New Years Eve celebration.

The fireworks do still take place every night at Midnight, part of their "Every night is New Years Eve on Pleasure Island" theme. It's a short but decent show. We're always in the AC, and the shows are timed so that folks can be out on the street.
