Fireworks Dessert Party!

:confused3 So the dessert party seems like such a good thing, why doesn't Disney just make it permanent? We are going to WDW in November, and the wait to find out is killing me!!!!

Looks like when they extended the dates they also jacked the prices up (and it also kills me that they consider a 10 year old and adult). Prices are now $23.42 for "Adults" 10 and older and $12.77 for children 3-9.
My sister went a couple of weeks ago and said it was nice ... Wishes and Spectro Magic was cancelled for the night tho ... there was lightning off in the distance.

I have been watching to see if this was extended; I was so hoping I could do this on my October trip! Then I go out of town for work for two days--the day the extension was announced here and the day after--just to find everything was already full during my trip. Keeping my finger crossed someone cancels or some other miracle happens for the last week in October!

im totally bummed that its completely sold out for the ENTIRE time of my trip  any chance i could do a walk up since im solo? heres hoping for some pixie dust on that one!!! :wizard:

We ate dinner at the Noodle Station where the dessert party is held when we were a MK a few weeks ago ... they were selling tickets for the dessert party when we went in. Guess it doesn't always sell out. It probably wouldn't hurt to check to see if there are any openings available.

I was just at the dessert party last Monday and I just walked in without a reservation. They said that they get a lot of cancellations and they do except people who just walk up.
The dessert was very good but very very rich so you can't eat very much which makes the 20.00 or so price tag very expensive..

Always try walking up and asking Gigi if there is any availablity! We had to wait until it was decided that there were no shows, but we got in(some did not)! No Tink though, it was raining. I agree with others that the desserts are very rich, if you eat too much you may regret it. On our night there was a selection of fruits available also. Everyone stood up along the wall to get in position watch Wishes. Some did stay in seats though. Hopefully it will be extended for our visit in December. :confused3

I just made ressies for 9/25.
I hope you also paid for the halloween party @ $52+ tax per adult. I was told by Disney today that you have to buy both tickets to get into the park for the dessert party! I also booked the 25th and it will cost me (for 2 people) $150+ to go to the dessert party. Disney has to have made a mistake! Right?
Help!

My Dh, DD3,DS1 and I went on Aug. 26th. It was raining that night, but was still a wonderful time. The CM's were very nice, there is assigned seating, so I wouldn't rush to get in line. The buffet was full the whole time, so you can sit back a relax a little bit. After you are done eating you can go stand at the railing. They also had a photopass photographer there, which was a nice touch. I will be booking again when we go back,if it is still around:goodvibes
