fireworks dessert party before after hours party?

I'm attending the Christmas party and I am planning to enter the park right at 7 when I can. It's my only chance on my trip to watch enchantment.
I was looking to see if it's possible to book the pre dessert party when you just have a party ticket. The arrival time is set at 630... so would be arriving "late"...

don't want to be out the $100 bucks if I'll be turned away.

In the past I would have said this would not be an issue because the party ticket is admission to the park. If check-in starts at 6:30 and you are not in the park until 7, it would just mean you missed a little of the party time. But, it also says theme park reservations are required. I know hold times are long, but you might call and check on the policy before committing $100.

I'm guessing you mean, no park reservation and just a dessert party ADR. In which case, no it won't work as you need a park reservation that's not included.

Yeah I guess no dessert party for those going to after hours only.

But does a ticket to the After Hours party count as a park ticket and reservation? I'm wondering if it might.

Once you are in the park using your after-hours ticket, the host/hostess at the podium checking people in for the dessert party will have no clue whether you had a park reservation, a day ticket or an after hours ticket. The biggest risk you face showing up late is not having enough time to enjoy dessert before you need to get to the viewing area to get a good spot.

I just called and asked. I was told that you are not allowed to check in to the dessert party more than 15 minutes after check-in time, which is 6:30. Therefore, I was told that you cannot attend the dessert party with only an after hours party ticket since you can't get into the parks on the after hours ticket until 7pm.

I know people who have checked in later then 15 minutes.

I believe it, especially because I think the line is long enough that everyone may not get through it in 15 minutes. But for some, it may not be worth the risk of spending the money and not getting in. It would have been for me for HEA but not for Enchantment.

So there are 2 desert options on party nights the pre one and the treats and seats one. The treats and seats doesn't check in until 7... or course right now it's fully booked but I'm going to keep trying..

After watching the videos of Enchantment, I will be saving my money by not spending it on a dessert party.

I just booked Treats and Seats for our After Hours night. I’m going to wait and see if anyone has gotten in with only the After Hour tickets. It’s hard to believe they would not let them in for the dessert party. They used to let people in the park with early breakfast reservations.
If it’s not allowed I’ll cancel.
A lot of CM’s answering the phones do not have all the information.

FWIW, the CM I spoke with put me on hold while he asked a manager my questions. I still think maybe they'd let you check in a bit later. I'll be curious to hear if people try this and it works.
