There will be 6 adults and 2 kids (5 & 7). I was thinking of chartering the 21-foot pontoon starts at $299 plus tax (seats 8 Guests). Who has done this and did you like it? Which marina did you sail from?

Hey there! We just rented the 10 passenger boat in June! We left from the Poly marina. We loved it!! So to start off, you can have the boat decorated for a birthday, anniversary, etc. We were celebrating my DH’s 40th and my DS’s birthday’s, so I requested the decorations and surprised them! You could also order food or adult beverages (beer, or bottles of wine or champagne) for the boat as well. We decided to go early and have a couple of drinks at Trader Sams before taking off!! So you have to arrive 1hour and 15 minutes prior to the start of Fireworks that night. Kids will be asked to wear life jackets. They provide you with both Snacks and Non-alcoholic drinks (soda, water, apple juice) - I think there were one or two others but can’t recall. I never actually looked in the cooler. When you start out, the captain takes you around the property- showing you where ‘Discovery Island’ and ‘River Country’ used to be. (You’ll now see construction for Reflections!) You’ll then get a front row seat to watch the Water Pageant! After that, the boat captain will position you right in front of the Magic Kingdom. They turn the radio on and you could actually hear the HEA audio. It was magical. We had such a beautiful night, got very lucky with the weather! I’d definitely recommend it! We have done it. We were a large group and had two boats. One was for Anniversaries and one for birthdays. Came with sodas, water, chips. It was great and definitely worth it.

If you are like me, not much to drink before since we were out there for at least an hour........just saying :) (with the kids/and or adults :tilt:)

We left from the Contemporary hotel.

Thanks for your great review. Did you park at the Poly?

We just did this in May from the Beach/Yacht club to see Illuminations at Epcot. As others have said, snacks and soft drinks were included on board and we could bring adult drinks with us. We wanted to see Illuminations before it ended and the boat is moored right by the bridge between U.K. and France at the international gateway. It was an incredible experience and the boat had ear protectors for the kids and googles for everybody for any ashes. I would definitely recommend.

I love this. There would be 7 of us. I wonder if anyone shares boats?

If any guest party has an activity reservation at a WDW resort, those guests can park at that resort during that activity.

We did the fireworks cruise from the GF and our experience was the same as @mrsap . I would definitely recommend it and for 10 people, it came out to about $30 a person...a way better price than the dessert party!

😊 thank you!
Is there a trick to this?
Rotate each "wrong" image and SAVE it at the correct angle.
Maybe save as a slightly different file name by adding a "V" (for vertical) at the end of the original name.

I appreciate your advice, thank you 😀 When I see them on my side, they are correct. When I upload them here, they go sideways.

Since we took care of the boat, our friends offered to tip. I’m not sure what they gave, though, sorry.
