I'm toying with the idea of booking an MK fireworks cruise on the Wednesday night of my December trip (if there are even any still available). Part of the reason why we booked deluxe, and stayed through Wednesday, was to take advantage of the Extended Evening Hours. So I don't want to miss them.
That night, the fireworks are scheduled for 8:00, the park closes at 9:00, and then the extended evening hours for deluxe guests run from 9:00 to 11:00.
According to the Disney website, you have to check in for the cruise 75 minutes prior the fireworks start time (so, on this night, 6:45). But the website doesn't say anything about when the cruise will end. I'm wondering whether I would be able to make it to MK in time to take full advantage of the extended hours. For those who have done this before, how long does it usually last? If we departed from the Poly (I'm assuming that's where they would drop us off as well, right?), would we have time to make it over to MK and get into the park before 9:00?
