We are planning on taking a fireworks birthday cruise for my daughters birthday in March. If you have taken these cruises are they worth it?? Would you do it again? It is really expensive ($220.00) and I want to be sure it is worth it and not a waste of our money.

We did a fireworks cruise this past december. I agree on the price! I swallowed real hard on the phone w/the CM when I made my reservations. It was just 4 of us total on the boat. We booked a birthday cruise during the WISHES fireworks show. It was great. The cake was very large, and very very heavy. Lotsa sugar for the kids! hahaha They are gonna be wired. Our boat had a Happy Birthday banner and balloons. They had a cooler full of diet soda, water, and regual soda pop. It was relaxing and nice. If you can budget it, I say go for it! I hope it works out great for your family!!!!!! :sunny:

We just back from Disney and did a wishes cruise last Friday night and it was wonderful! A true highlight of our trip! I didn't add the birthday option though. You can organize it here on the DIS to get people to join you to split the costs! Go for it! I don't want to tell you everything because I don't want to spoil it for you!

While I love the illuminations cruises...I would skip the Birthday cost...you can bring your own balloons and even order a cake yourself for less then the $70 plus additional cost .....

You could use Wegoshop.com and have them get a cake and balloons from a local grocery store and it would only cost a delivery fee of about $15. If money is a factor then chose this route to save some money...

If money isn't a factor then I guess the convience would be nice...but I"m a penni pincher...

When I booked my cruise they told me no outside food and drink are allowed on the cruise. :sad2:
