Does anyone know whether you can see the fireworks from O'Hana's and if they pipe music in?

If so, what time should I make a reservation for?

Yes, you can see them even if you are not directly against a window. They do pipe in the music and dim the lights. You need to make reservations for about an hour before the fireworks start. Any closer than that and you run into the people who are done eating and just hanging around at their table for the fireworks.

Just remember once you make your reservation, keep checking the park hours. I had to change my 'Ohana PS 3 times in March due to hours changing at MK.

One caution -- even if you score a coveted window seat, don't be surprised if a dozen people don't cram themselves all around your table and between you and the next table when the fireworks start.

I didn't have that seat, but I would have been seriously annoyed if I did. Yes, most were children, but I saw people having to hold onto their glasses because kids were jostling the table trying to get a better look.

I suspect that from the center of the room I enjoyed the fireworks show more than the people right at the window for that very reason.

Also, you can't see it from every table - there is a large section of tables behind the firepit that cannot see (this is where we were seated). If you truly want to see them, you need to request when you checkin that you would like to view the fireworks. If you aren't willing to wait, or that doesn't work out, you can walk around and see it but there is a stepdown in the restaurant so we had to lean over to view it - and it wasn't worth it for 14 minutes to stand like that. Plus the view is not that great, it's a nice touch if you score a seat but we didn't find it was worth standing bent over that long to view. The tables around us when on with their meals and fun like nothing was going on, as well ;)

1-1.5 hours prior to Wishes is your best bet. Arrive early, request a view, and be prepared to wait.

Now see that wouldn't fly with me. If I couldn't enjoy my dinner (which isn't cheap, by the way) I'd have to tell them to please leave us alone/back off a little.

I've gotten wishes view tables at 'Ohana before and there are only a few tables that have a great view. If you're on the right side of 'Ohana, your Wishes view is kinda marred by the bright pool lights. The left side of 'Ohana has the better view IMO.

I personally would time it so that dinner ends before Wishes and then go down to the beach and watch it from there. They sometimes pipe the music there, but even without the music, it's still cool to watch, and it's darker down at the beach so the fireworks look much better.
