Fireworks at MK in August?

I just read that the MK fireworks will not be taking place on days the park closes early. We go on August 12th, and the park closes at 9. Does that mean there will be no fireworks on that day?

fireworks will be at 8:45 your night! We will be there too, our last night! It’s the night MK is closing at 6pm w/o fireworks.

Phew! Thank you. I read that they just shortened some days’ park hours in August and September, and those are the days without fireworks.

The thing to know is that if the park closes early in August (before 8:45, or so) they CAN'T run the fireworks, as it will not yet be dark outside.

There are only two dates, August 14th and September 11th. It has been assumed that there are other events taking place these nights (corporate event, CM event, something else, etc.), which is causing the park to close at 6PM and 7PM those nights. From what I've seen, those early closures have been known for at least a little while.
