Can you see the fireworks from the contemporary? If so, if you are having dinner at Chef Mickey's, but are not staying at the contemporary, can you still go out on the grounds and watch the fireworks?
TIA

sure you can. After you get done eating head toward the windows facing the castle. On your left there is a small hallway, go out the exit door and you are on the roof. There is seating out there and you can watch the fireworks

Oh, o-kay great!! Someone had told me that Chef Mickey's was on the 1st floor of the contemporary with no windows at all. Thank you so much for the info!!

weve done this. it does get crowded out there sometimes so get out there early. (chef mickeys it self has windows, but they dont face the fireworks, youll have to leave chef mickeys to get outside)

Thanks everyone!!! We just went in June and we didn't do Chef Mickey's, but I want to do it this next time in 2009 and I was thinking about scheduling it the night we arrive and watching the fireworks!!! What time should I plan on dinner to be able to get out there early enough for the fireworks? What a great way to start a Disney Vacation!! I hope all of you have a magical time on your upcoming trips!!!
