Fireworks and WOC same night?

We're going to be at Disneyland from May 20-23. Going based off the 24-hour party schedule from last year, is it possible to see the fireworks at Disneyland and then rush over to see the first WOC show or should we just wait it out for the 2nd show?

I don't think you would be able to do that. Fireworks are at 9:25, right? And WOC is at 9:45? Pretty sure you wouldn't be able to make your way through the crowds and out of DLR, over the esplanade, through the gates and over to the show in time.

I would plan on seeing the second showing of WOC. There will be a new 60th anniv fireworks show and a WOC show debuting on May 22 so it will be extremely crowded in both parks that evening. If it follows last year's schedule, the "Magical" fireworks show was at 9:25 and the first WOC was at 9:45 so that leaves virtually no time after the fireworks ends to get through the crowds at DL, into DCA and over to the WOC show area.

I also doubt you'd be able to make to WoC. I would aim for the second WoC showing or hope they do a middle of the night showing again!
