Fireworks (and more) when Disneyland Closes "Early" ???

We are going to disneyland near the end of October. At least one day we will be in the park it closes at 8pm but also shows Fireworks at 8pm. How does that work? Does it mean that all of the rides close at 8pm...?

Also, how about dinner when the park closes at 6pm? Does that mean that there are no dinners available in the park that night? And how about breakfast when it doesn't open til 10am?

If fireworks are on the schedule when the park closes at 8 pm, yes all the rides will be closed off promptly at 8 pm (if you are in the que at 7:59, you will be allowed on). Main Street shops will be open until 9 pm.

When the park opens late or closes early, then yes, no restaurants IN the park are open. There are plenty of choices in DTD and the resort hotels to eat at, as well as chains on Harbor.

The exception to this is Minnie& Friends character breakfast at the Plaza in the mornings. If the park opens at 10 am, they will open up Main Street early and allow Priority Seating at Minnie's during that time.
