Fireworks and little ones

My kids were really scared of the fireworks (the sound) on our last trip and I recall reading somewhere on DIS that someone used kid sized sound deadening ear protectors for the fireworks. What do you all do for your kids? Mine will be 3 and 5 on our next trip.

Kinda funny, when DD was 3, she was scared to death to watch them from Main Street. But was OK watching them from Tomorrowland. She still has problems with loud noises, she'll just cover her ears! HTH!
