Are there fire works at Downtown disney?

There are fireworks at Pleasure Island, and you can see them -- and some of the others around property -- from many areas of DTD. But there are no fireworks that originate at DTD other than the PI ones.

the fireworks are at midnight every night as pleasure island has a daily "new years" party at midnight.

BTW - Don't go to DTD or PI and except a full blown fireworks show... it is VERY short, not like what is presented each night at WDW parks. Not being overly negative, just dont want you to make time to see them and be disappointed that they are really short and sweet =)
