firewall

can anyone recommend a good(and free) firewall that will not crash my system.

As per a post yesterday, I looked into Zone Alarm. I went to download.com and read the reviews. Most of them were good, but the bad ones were really bad. An alternate suggestion was the older version of Zone Alarm (2.6) so I went to oldversion.com and downloaded it and have had no problems yet.

I would recommend ZoneAlarm.

I used ZA untill I put in a router that has a firewall in it. ZA worked well.
