Firefighter discount finished at Disney

Last week someone posted that Firefighters and their families
could still get discounts on tickets. NOT TRUE!!! I emailed Disney
and just got a reply saying that program ended 4/30/02.

mousey, it was I that said I got the discount, do a search and you will see my posts. You will also read that someone called spoke to a CM and the CM said the promo ended.
He called back, spoke to another CM and the second one knew what they were talking about and told them the discounted tickets were now through 12/02. It is true. I have the code numbers and the card from a NYPD delegate in my house with the ID numbers given to my husband from WDW to prove it.
Did you send your e-mail to the same address I posted?

Is the firefighter discount the same one as the Military discount?

There seems to be conflicting information on that one being extended as well.
