Fire Island Pines

So who has been to the Pines. Tell me about your fav spots there. Where to stay, eat, drink etc etc etc.

My dear vaDisneyGuy,

The better dining in the Pines is in Cherry Grove, the community immediately to the west of the Pines. At least it was when I was going out there (1992-1997). The people are friendlier too. Not to mention, Cherry Grove was gay long before the Pines was on the Map (the history of Cherry Grove goes back to the 1930's). Sadly, the Grove is a lot more mixed that it was in my day.
