Fire in Orlando burning for 6 days near WDW!!

Saw this on local news here in Charlotte..

So they said its in the woods near Disney and thick black smoke can be seen from 'property'. They did say that they don't think it will affect Disney at all, but its been burning for 6 days! WOW.

Had to laugh- We live about 1.5 hours south of Centralia- and have driven through it on many occasions to go upstate. I can remember as a kid it being so scary- I always thought the ground was going to open up and swallow us in. We stopped through just last summer and the place is terribly eerie. What used to be a bustling town is now completely gone except 2 homes... the ground is cracked, roads buckled, closed, and there is smoke coming from the ground everywhere (not to mention--- the ground is also incredibly hot!). DH wanted to get out and walk around, but I wanted none of it!

Yes I was there during that. It was awful...ashes falling in the park and it took me an hour to drive fifteen minutes!
