I haven't gone into the host room, but the room description doesn't say anything about a special quest in there, just to click the Q button.

EDITED TO ADD:
Fin is in a cute pirate-decorated Dark Ride room with a short (two room) log ride. No prizes. People were asking the usual "when will items be released" questions. Poor Phinny.
So as far as I'm concerned, no reason to wait in the queue.

Okay, if you can believe it, I've never seen any of the POTC movies so this was very hard for me but I made it through it. I guess I should probably watch the movies. I actually own the movies but just haven't watched them.

Did you check your items? It doesn't tell message you that you got them. It just puts them in your stuff and gives you the credits (if they have any during the quest).
