They must be letting the quest go on longer because its been 14 minutes after the scheduled close of the quest event. Maybe they are doing this to make-up for the technical difficulties?

I think the quest is normally open about half an hour after the official close of the event, but I know Phinney told me she can't keep the quest open extra because Adventureland was closed, the quest closes automatically.

In EST Time the Quest Opens at 11:30 and ends at 2:30. I did the quest on my main character which took 15 minutes. After that it was 2:24, so I decided that since it was 6 minutes till close time and it took 15 minutes to do, I would not do it on my other account. I talked to my friends and a while later I decided to look at the quest status at 2:43. It was still open. I logged onto my other account and did the quest in 12 minutes. It has still not closed yet.

Well unfortunately for me, I only had the first half hour to do this quest. I got as far as the jungle cruise and i was able to play the mini game but after that i couldn't get any further. Huge lag and couldn't go from room to room. So i logged off and logged back on only to have it be worse. Then i had to go somewhere and i thought vmk would be nice enough to extend the quest for at least an hour or two past the deadline since they obviously shouldn't put mini games in it. (This happened last time they put the Jungle Cruise game in the quest) When i was able to log on at 12:30 pacific time, the quest was over. So bye for today vmk! I need a break!
