Finished the Minnie 5k and now attempting the Princess 1/2 - Am I nuts!?!

Hooray!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

FANTASTIC!!! I am so proud of you for getting through Day 3! That is awesome! I read your post on Friday and I thought about it...so, when I got home, I decided to go ahead and do Day 3 instead of waiting til Saturday... You'll have to skip to my journal to see how I did! :goodvibes

I know you're in the world, you lucky dog! I hope you guys having an awesome time!!!

Hope you are having a FANTABULOUS time in the World!!

Congratulations on doing SO WELL with the C25K program - you are such an INSPIRATION, girl! I can't wait to get started on it - I'm greatly looking forward to meeting you and your family at the race in May. I hope your knee continues to do well and doesn't give you any more trouble - chronic pain is the WORST! Anyway, when you get back from WDW, KEEP GOING with the training - you're doing great!!

Susan

Stacy, that is wonderful you made it through Day 3!:cool1: Excellent job, your hard work is really paying off. And that is awesome you and your mom are doing the Minnie 5K in May. That will really offer some serious motivation this winter, good for you! If I don't "talk" to you before you leave, have a wonderful trip to WDW and the Poly! Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy!

I'm baaaaaaaaack!! :goodvibes

Well, we got back in last night to a wonderful 35 degrees, from 80 degree Orlando.. :sad1: But, it was nice to see my DH and my doggies.. LOL
I had a wonderful time, and enjoyed every minute of it. :thumbsup2 The Poly is absolutely beautiful, and i think i may have found my new favorite hotel. :cloud9: Waking up every am to that castle, and being able to sit on our balcony to watch Wishes was awesome!! Just a wonderful hotel.
Now, it's back to reality, and dealing with this wonderful (NOT) head cold that i picked up a couple days ago (lovely souvioner huh?) and back to work......... Well, not today, i have today and tomorrow off, and dd goes back to school today which will be giving me some much needed alone time.. ( I mean i love my dd with all my heart, but i was with her 24/7 for 9 days straight.. KWIM??) ;) I need a chance to chill out and drink a good cup of coffee.. :coffee:

I don't think i am going to jump back in to C25K just today.. lol.. mabye tomorrow.. i am just so stuffed up and congested.. So, i think it will be hard to breathe.. Maybe just jump on for a walk though.. since it is raining here. I am debating on if i should start W6 or repeat W5, even though i completed W5 before i left, i didn't do any training for 9 days while at WDW.. except for all that park walking!! :rotfl2: I need to whip myself back into it though, and watch the food... which i did NOT do in WDW either.. :rotfl:

I will catch up with everyones journals today or tomorrow..

Corinna -- sorry we couldn't meet up, Schedules just didn't jive. but hope you had a great time as well! And maybe we can meet up in May when you do the Minnie! ;) (Cuz you know you want to!) :)

Welcome Back!!!!

It sounds like you had a great time in Orlando.:goodvibes I think it's a good idea to take it easy for a couple of days and then get back into the routine.:goodvibes

I hope you're feeling better soon.

Stacy - glad you made it back safely. How was T-Day in the MK? The West Side of DTD wasn't too bad early in the afternoon, but we left around 4 for a rest and then spent the evening at the pool.

I hear you on the I love my kids but this is extreme togetherness! I was on my own with the two boys for 8 nights, and we had a great time, but it is also nice to be home with another adult to share the load a little.

Hope your cold goes away soon. Not fun to run with a stuffed up head, that is for sure. I need to get back to it as well, but I ended up with some sore calluses on my big toes. :sad2:

If it were me, I think I'd go ahead and repeat week 5, though week 6 is kind of a step back from week 5, so maybe plowing ahead would be OK? Tough call.

And I am planning on the Minnie in May. ::MinnieMo We have some points in holding now that we need to use up and DH totally missed this trip, sad thing. We'll have to consult about the plans before things get set in stone, though a lot of the set in stoneness about this trip for us was the ADR's that just could not be moved because of the particular week.

Anyhow, I'm not trying to take over here.....much....hope your transition back to real life goes fairly easily!

Welcome back! Sorry you caught a cold, but hope it goes away quickly! I'm glad you had a good time at Disney. I think you should pick up with your training at whatever point feels right to you. If you start to repeat the week you've finished because you didn't train during your trip and it seems a little too easy, then you know you can move up to the next week! Of course, I might not know what I'm talking about (haven't started the training yet myself - hoping to shortly), but just try to ease back into it and don't overdo - no injuries or setbacks!

Glad you are back on the boards - have a great evening!

Susan

Welcome back!!! Glad you gusy had a great time!!! I've never stayed a the poly, but we've eaten there. I love the theming!

You've done so good on the C25K!!! So proud of you!

Stacie

Hi Stacy, welcome home! So sorry you picked up this cold though. Listen to your body and work your way back slowly. I would love to stay at the Poly, dh and I keep saying for our 20th we are going one way or the other! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip, but I agree, 9 days with one's child earns you some alone time! Gald you are back, we missed you around here!

Hi everyone, i am still here.. i am so sorry i haven't been on anyone's journal yet... I promise i will get there! I am SOOO congested, that i haven't done a darn thing training wise since i have been back.. It's all i can do to breathe.. LOL
I am just hoping when i do make it back on the TM my legs remember how to do it! LOL ;)
I also have my biggest craft show of the year this weekend.. I usally do really really well at it, so i am busy prepping for that too..
My shop hasn't been doing as well as i would hope it to be this holiday season so far, and this has been causing me some serious stress and mixed emotions this week.. I just can't shake it. :(
I am torn with decisions on weather i should move locations (my town is small and very seasonal - i can't pay bills on a 4 month a year season) or just pull the plug and move on. Which scares me, b/c my shop is my baby, and it's all i have ever wanted.. but, the financial hardships just weigh on me. But, i have no idea what i would do if i weren't working at my store - that scares me -- although i know i could still keep a portion of my business and continue from home (like my website/store and doing craft shows), so i guess that is another option..
I am sorry to be rambling here with you guys.. but i guess i feel comfortable chatting here and there's not many people here at home i can talk honestly and openly about all this to.

Thanks for listening..

 Stacy,

I'm sorry you're still not feeling well. :( Sending lots of get well :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: your way.

I understand what you are saying about your shop. Financial issues can weigh so heavily on our minds, even more so when we're not feeling well. I will be praying for you and the decision that you make.

Please be sure and get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids. Maybe you can pop in a good movie and relax today. Take care, sweetie!

Hey girl! WELCOME BACK! I'm glad you had a good trip!

My opinion on the C25K would be to repeat week 5. It may be totally easy for you, but I think it's the best way to jump back in. Why push it and possibly struggle? As long as you're not pressed for time with a race or something, I'd say repeat week 5 (once you can breathe, of course :thumbsup2 )

Here's some PD that business picks up at your store. :wizard: Hopefully your craft show went well this weekend as well. :goodvibes

Take care, Stacie and get some rest! Hope you feel better soon.

Stacy, that's a tough call. Giving up something you love, even if it does become necessary is a hard thing to go through. Never aplogize for telling us these things and venting them out, thats what WISH is for. Part of staying healthy is getting the stress out of your body and mind. So post away, if nothing else we'll say a prayer, give a  and just listen! And I am sure the treadmill technique will return very quickly! Its much better to rest your body when you are sick than push it and get sicker. Hope things are going better, take care, it will work out as its meant to!

Welcome Back!

I hope you are feeling better. Being  is the pits. I hope the craft fair went well. With the economy the way it is, many small retailers are struggling this season. I hope that business picks up for you. Good luck on making the decision about the shop.

Feel better,
Beth

Hi everyone, thanks for the well wishes!! My show over the weekend went GREAT. I felt a huge relief last night.. and a big satisfaction. I sold TONS of my own stuff, that just makes me feel wonderful and blessed, that that many people like something that I create. There will be lots of clean/good smelling people around here.. ;)

I am hoping to try to jump back on the TM today - I am still stuffy and congested in my chest, and hoping that won't hurt my chances, but i am dying to get back on.. it has been way too long. I think i will just plan on repeating W5.

I will catch up later!! Thanks again for listening - as for the shop, i am just taking it one day at a time and seeing how we do. Along with praying everyday for guidance.
Thanks!

Hi Stacy! Hope you are feeling better!!! Glad everything went well over the weekend!!! That is great! I know that must tough about your shop!

Hope everything goes well on the TM Today! I agree w/ Kim. It wouldn't hurt to do Week 5 again... get back in the groove! :)

Let us know how it goes!!!

Hope you have a good day!
Stacie

Hi Stacy!
I'm so glad your show went well and that you are breathing enough to consider running again. :thumbsup2 Great news all around and I hope your first time back to the TM goes well for you. Of course, this probably goes without saying, but do be careful, running with that congestion.

You mentioned something about continuing on with your website/store back there a little while ago - do you have an online store now that, say, maybe a WISH friend could visit if she were looking for something to help her be a clean/good smelling person? :) Am I interpreting this to mean that you make soap? I can't believe we haven't pried further into this - so busy talking about running and not wanting to be nosy, I guess.

Have a great day.

Hi Stacy, so glad the show went well and that you sold a lot of your own things. That must feel pretty darn good! Hope you got on the treadmill, if not, it will be there for you tomorrow when you are feeling better. Here's to a good week!
