Laurie, To be honest, yes, the C25K plan is only 9 weeks, so i will be done about mid- December, since i am on vacation 2 of those weeks of the plan (one in Nov, and one in Dec. - i am sure i will work out a bit, but i doubt i will be following the plan while i am in WDW and on the DCL!) Know what i mean?
But, i know May is a little ways away, but i honestly feel that a 15k is just a lil' out of my body's plan right now. I still want to lose about 30 lbs. and tone up.. So, after the C25k plan, i will probably continue jogging / walking, and also concentrate on the weight loss and toning.. I just don't want to bite off more than i can chew. I have had knee problems ever since 2nd grade, when i had multiple operations on my knees.. So, i would rather sign up for a 5k and do great, then sign up for a 15k and have something happen and not make it. I would be heartbroken. I think honestly, if i can jog the 5k i will be completely happy.
