Thank you all for the good wishes. He made Head boy and feels he did well in the Keyboard exam, has to wait for results for that. Beginners level he passed with honours, Step 1 a pass, Step 2 he has practised more so hoping for at least a pass.
Also waiting for a GCSE result in music, taken it a year early, won't know until end of August(while in Florida)

Congratulations to your DS on becoming Head Boy! I was Head Girl at school when I was there and it's such an honour and privilege to be chosen! I had it on my CV when I left that I was head girl, and my current employer (infact, they're my only ever employer!) partly chose me for the job because I'd been HG! It's a great feather in the cap to have done it in my eyes!

Matt just got a text from his Keyboard teacher, results for his keyboard exam, 83% which is a Merit.

Matt started school today as head boy. Pic below. He also got his GCSE result for music which he took a year early, got a C which is what he expected, took it as an additional subject in his spare time so didn't put many hours into it.
