Finger scans at USF & IOA

We purchased 3 day/2 park tickets from a discount ticket place. When we first used the tickets at IOA on 10/19 we had to place our finger in a scanner. Later in the day we left to go over to USF and realized we hadn't marked the tickets with the name of the person who first used it. When we got to the gate none of the tickets worked which caused a delay. I assume the finger scans didn't match.

So just a suggestion, mark your tickets with the name of the person who first used it so the finger scans match. It will save you time and frustration at the gate.

Does anyone know when thay added the finger scan system?

They started it almost a month ago for multi-day tickets.

Do the finger scans apply to Annual Passholders yet? When we were at the parks two weekends ago, it wasn't in effect.

No fingerscans for annual passholders. I doubt they'll do that as long as they still have the picture on the AP. They are still taking pictures for APs so I don't see it happening any time soon.

After four trips to HHN, they finally scanned my thumb into the computer.

Since Universal seems to want the finger scan like Disney, I hope they keep the nice credit card type ID's for AP's instead of going to the regular tix like Disney.

We are Premium Annual Passholders. Tonight entering IoA for HHN, we had our right index fingers scanned.

DH corrected me. He said it was on our Frequent Fear passes the finger scan was done.
Previously, we had arrived early and we in the parks as HHN guests were being corraled. The other times our tickets were just scanned on hand held scanners. So actually going through the stile with the HHN passes, that is when we had a finger scan done.

Yes, they do the fingerscan for Frequent fear but not for annual passes, at least not yet.
