Finger Scanning and Ticket Question...HELP!!

Here is the deal. My DH and I bought Park Hopper Tickets with plus options when we went to DW back in 2003. We have 3 park days left and all 4 of the water park options left. We are going back to DW on July 30th and my parents decided to come along so they could see my DS(3) enjoy his first real trip to the world. Here is my question. My mom and dad have helped us tons in the last few weeks due to a move to a new house so we offered to give them our tickets to use for the parks since they are only coming for the last 3 days of our trip. Our plan before they arrived was to use the option part of the tickets and take our boys to Blizzard Beach since my other DS(9) really wants to go there. If we use the hoppers at BB on say Monday will they make us sign them then and there?? If so I won't be able to do this since I can't now tell my parents that we won't give them the tickets. Am I understanding this correctly or do they not make you sign the tickets and do finger scans at the water parks?? Any help would be great!!

It is my understanding that biometric readers, while installed at the water parks, are not used.

You may want to wait for confirmation on that, but I believe they only use them at the major parks.

Biometric readers, where installed but not in use, may go on line any day now.

The three park days remaining on your old hoppers will save having to pay $182. per new pass for your parents' 3 day stay ($219. if you do park hopping). Not using up the old plusses yourself but instead buying the plus pack for your new tickets will cost about $48. per pass. Or one single water park admission costs about $36.
