No, DLR doesn't have that technology yet.

I do wish that DL would get the plastic tickets like WDW has though. Our APs were of course plastic, but anytime we've not had the APs current those darned paper tickets get all bent up and mangled from the combo of water rides and use in many FASTPASS machines.

You get plastic ones (like credit cards) are the ones you get when you stay at a resort. If you stay off site or don't put your tickets on a room key when you stay at a resort, they are the paper ones too. They are not as great - I agree.

Sounds like a new thing. We stayed at a DL Resort for one of our stays in 2005, and the tickets we got were just the standard paper tickets for our 4 day hoppers. Did they change it in 2006 (we stayed off site for each of our DL visits in 2006)? Or were you saying that at WDW you sometimes get paper tickets? We bought tickets only for our 2006 WDW trip (booked hotel on our own - cheaper price with a teacher discount) and had plastic tickets, so I thought all WDW tickets were plastic. I'm so confused...

I'm saying that at WDW you get hard plastic tickets (like a credit card) when you stay at a WDW Resort - they are placed on your room key if you got a package or can add one set of tickets on them. If you get them from guest services or are staying off site they are the "paper ones" - they are more like card stock with a little credit card strip type thing on the back. Now DL - I have no idea, never been
