O.K. I know...when do we get to the WDW part....after swimming at the Hampton Inn pool in the A.M.we went back to SW on Mon. July 2 and had a blast again....only this time we decided to try and stay somewhat dry...(easier said than done) kids wore their bathing suits and romped in Shamu's Happy Harbour and we did the Shark adventure...it is so cool....the video turned out really good, I was worried it would be too dim but it isn't. We HAD to go to the polar arctic expedition as DD was chosen 6 years ago for publicity photos when the exhibit was opening, just to see how much she and the polar bear had grown. the ride itself is o.k....DS liked it a lot as he really felt like he was on a helicopter.Saw the manatee exhibit and as always my heart breaks for these poor guys...there was quite a few with missing tail sections etc. from all the boat propellers...at least the awareness is getting better. We finished up the day with the Key West dolphin show and my personal favorite...the Clyde and Seymore seal and otter show. The show itself is a hoot and the mime in the beginning was exceptionally clever..and then there were a few "bloopers" that were'nt supposed to happen during the show which made it a keeper. Luckily we had just enough tape left on the camcorder to catch the whole show.We headed back to pack as we were checking into ASMU the next day..wooohooo...our first on-site hotel..EVER!
This time we knew our correct way back to the hotel...grabbed a few burgers at Wendy's and got ready for thenext day.
